Kimmo Laine Mate it does not matter what age you are. I am 31 years old and I have just started building a lego technic mack anthem truck. It is still super entertaining and keeps me going for hours
This is my 3rd technic set that i had gotten, and its the 1st technic set that i have it with power functions. The first was the mack, followed by the bugatti. Idk what, but i kept getting drawn to technic sets this year...
Peter Reinholdt Rothausen have you built it yet and if so how long did it take you? I just purchased one of these today as my next project after I just finished my mack anthem truck. This will take me alot longer than 14 hours but it is so entertaining lol
I've bought my kids lots of Lego over the years Technic stuff great fun to build with them. They are in their twenties now so not really interested .......but me:) hmmm
I stop buying and mounting Lego sets for 20 years now, and I am completely lost with all those new bricks, I think I just know a tenth of all the bricks in this video... but cool set anyway !
I had the tow truck (8846) when I was, I dunno, 8 or something. It felt as complicated as this video looks now at 47. I don't like the modern bricks very much. When I was young you had to construct everything yourself. There weren't any 45 degree angled pieces, you had to make 'em yourself out of whatever you had lying around. I feel like Stadler and Waldorf now 🤣
You're right. I have the 8044, 8830 and 8835, and you can do the assembly by just looking at the whole picture (almost), now, with all these parts, all these imbrications, it's impossible. At the begining, Lego was for kids, I was 10yo when I had my first Lego Technic. Give those new sets to a 10Yo kid, he will go back to his computer 😅 I have a 7yo neveu, and lended him my old space Legos from the 80's, and he struggling a lot just for simple sets like 6872 and 6884... I can't just imagine with this one !And regarding all these new bricks, is it me or they seems more flabby ? I remember trying to remove old black pins with my teeth with lot of pain, now it seems to be a joke to assemble/deassemble ! Regards ! 😉 (sorry for my english)
It is a bit like the mk crane designed years ago but with some new features. Great job building it though I hope I could get it. It is quite expensive over £200 but its worth it for 4'050 pieces
I’m under 10 and I made the Lego Bugatti (3 days) the Lego 911 Porsche (3days) Lego Land Rover (4days) Lego excavator (5days) and the Lego dodge charger(2days) and soon the mid and millennium falcon hopefully will prob take long time to make and I did all this without help just me who did it it’s sick this all technic a like would help me out I will appreciate
I'm interested in the movement experience. With the Mobile Crane Mk III it was very slow and painful; over engineered. The Bucket Wheel Excavator was worse - half the time it didn't work at all. How did you find the movement with this?
I bought this set for my grandpa who turned 79 today. He loved it!
Congrats
Hope he had a very happy birthd--and This comment was 3 months ago

WTF, FIRST, BUT THE ,,WOW THATS FANTASTIC,, FORM AND HOW DID HE DO IT AT 79 YEARS OLD?
im 15 and i will most likely never stop love this things
Μιχάλης Καϊμασιδης i am 31 and still love these things. I just got this as my new project after finishing my last one 😅
Just like the Bucket Wheel Excavator, this is another good set for parts.
yeah you could easily build a nice red pickup truck with all these parts
my money can't keep up with these badass lego sets comin
Shoutout to this man for building this with no instructions
I love the gearbox in this build, nicely done
These sets are also great stress killers!..
40+ years have passed since i was at "correct" age for these, bu i still want one😂
Same here 😁

These are the facts as I understand them
1) This build would take lots of dedication
2) This build is not for the faint of heart
but only for those that like a challenge and have LOTS of time on their hands
Probably the best TECHNIC set they've made so far
i agree , i have the bucket wheel and it is Awesome!!!

Im still watching this in 2020

This is so extremely satisfying to watch!!!
Whoa, that's pretty cool. Wish the turning was a little smoother, but still cool

Is it possible to dis-assemble and rebuild with out too much trouble? Seems like a lot of these connections are rather permanent.
