Yes I have seen in my native home land.It is a wild tree and we call this fruit Goosu. This fruit grows mostly up hill on the mountain. At the early stage it's kind of reddish and then turns into dark blue when ready. It is very testy.

We use to climb big trees eat a lot, the plumper with small seeds the better, after eating like a kilo we use to compare our tongues who has the darkest color...OMG even your poop is dark. It has lots of anti oxidant alongside bugnay or bignay. These are graceful trees starts to flower in January and ripen in April and May. I can still imagine the smell of the flower. Thanks Polin. I live in Suriname, South America. Definitely have jamu here. A distinct taste, pretty good. But don't eat too much cause it dries your mouth. It's perfect for making wine.
