We called #DUHAT in Tagalog Philippines..we have that trees also in our mountain rage..(Java plum) duhat. We do the same way… snacks (put in container ,With salt then shake it) ..sometimes cook it as jelly or jam..and other country side they permitted for wine.

I didn’t know this black fruit is called Java Plum. We call them Jamoon in India. They’re yummy, sweet fruit, we used to love getting from the tree and eating as kids 😊
