On the strength of your review, I took a shot and ordered the same exact model as the one you reviewed with the exception of the top color. Mine is called matte sky burst, yours appears to be butter creme. That said, the top material on both finishes is alleged to be laminated spruce instead of mahogany. Not that it matters all that much as you can't see the wood grain through either finish. I am quite satisfied with my D'Angelico and appreciate your direct and candid review. The price has bumped up a little since your evaluation was posted. Mine was "on sale" at $299 @ GC but is currently retailing at $399. Still a more than fair price for the level of quality and superb playability the Premier Gramercy offers.
I believe D'Angelico puts out very high quality instruments. I'm not really a Fan of that guitar - but that's just a matter of personal taste. I do believe it's a very good quality instrument. They make good stuff. And I bet it is comfortable to play, as you say, being the size that it is. Good solid review, and you stole it. Keep the good stuff coming.
This guitar has caught my eye due to your review. Thanks! But how would you compare this model with the Premiere CS that you reviewed almost a year ago? Differences, your preference between the two & why? Fan of the channel here. 👍🏻🤘🏻 Thanks again!
Ive heard of the bars down on the base of the guitar snapping off over time if it's just glued and doesnt have reinforcements, has anyone experienced this w dangelicos or anytips to prevent this, im looking for good sound and durability in my acoustic electric, quality and durability possibly first but sound richness definitley a big key to my next long time use electric acoustic

Yes Jimmy , D'Angelico's are NOT for everybody (quirky headstock, etc.)- but I can't turn down a bargain! Be well brother!

Bothe guitars are very comparable.
