Thanks, this was one of my early projects I worked on. I have probably done 3 or 4 all grains using that now, and it has worked for me great.

I see you have a large plastic funnel laying on the ground. What I did was to cut the bottom of a plastic bucket so you basically have a large tube which happens to fit perfectly inside that large transfer funnel. The funnel then just sits in the provided hopper. I brew 5 gallon batches and this simple setup easily holds 15 pounds of grain. I have also built a simple wooden frame that the mill can sit very low in another bucket with the bolt which I chuck into my drill just above the lip of the holding bucket. I just acquired a motor from a treadmill and am thinking about adding a pulley in place of the handle as my next mod.

    Couple things.
    1) The more grain weight on the
auger, the harder it is to crank,
    (I would assume)
    have you run into that?
    2) Fresh ground flour is only good
for about 30 days from what I hear
    before losing it's fresh flavor.
    How do you store yours?

SWEET.....I have the same Corona mill and I will recreate this minus the extra hopper as I like that the original hopper holds 2 pounds on grain which makes measurement easier.Yes lots of reloading but not a big deal.
Nice job dude and I am gratefull to your inventiveness.

Thank you, I have just upgraded my hopper with a 5 gallon water jug. I cut off the bottom, part of the top, and then super glued it to the hopper that came with it. Cheers.
