I’m glad it helped you.
This video isn't bad at all man, great video and very informative!

Mudtrail Connor Strack;
glad i could help.
i have an old 95 blaster wheres the vin located on these old bikes having a hard time finding it on the painted frame.thanks
Its on the left side on the very bottom where the shifter ends on the very edge. You might need to remove some paint to see the vin.
Was your blaster just always leaking from the overflow even with fuel off? And when fuel was turned on did it leak faster? Having the same problem with mine.
Jake T6i:
It only leaked when the fuel was on.
Sounds like your petcock valve is bad and also your carburetor needs adjustment.
Hey,do you still have the oil injection system on your blaster or you premix it?. I’m asking because I have the oil injection system on mine but it doesn’t smoke like a 2stroke would out the exhaust. I’m looking at yours and when you accelerated it didn’t smoke nether. Do you know if it’s normal?
No I don’t have that oil injection pump I always do pre-mix 32:1 ratio. Yeah I’m exactly not sure why it’s doing it. as long as you’re mixing fuel and oil right shouldn’t have no worries.
Is it Running good and Idling good? if it is I wouldn’t worry about it.
Ther are some premix oils like the castor 927 that advertise clean oil burn, smokeless in other words.
Jovany Gonzalez
Oh wow never heard of that need to try it out.

My blaster wont start it has compression and gas do you think its the carb?
Omar Sanchez
Yes most likely it’s it.
Also I would change spark plug
And make sure you have spark.
Any way you could show us how to adjust the banding on the yamaha blaster?
Not sure what you mean.
Hey , can you send me the link of where you bought the spark plug cap or where i can get one
baezvy; try this out!?

thanks bro
Basically I think that the word (basically) is a shirt logo. Lol
What about the gas and oxigen washers???or screews??do they have them
Not sure what you mean.
My blaster was just rebuilt and I have a bogging problem when I go forward
Clean your carb and put fresh gas and install a new spark plug.
@@BTR2018 its got fresh gas carb went through and new spark plug
@@rccars2.010 could be the Tors system acting up. Is it stock carb?
@@BTR2018 yes sir but there's no tores it got deleted
@@rccars2.010still seems like a carb issue but could be stator.
Who can help me with this? I have a 2004 blaster that wouldn't stsrt without stsrting fluid. I took it apart and the float needle was stuck in the thing it slides up/down in. Would that cause it to Not start? I broke the tip of it so I can't toss it back together until the rebuild kit gets here, would it start with the tip being broke or no?
Yes of course it wouldn’t start because if it’s not moving that means it’s dirty make sure you clean the carb very careful, and make sure it’s clean. Also with the broken tip it’s going to run rich and will be hard to start.
@@BTR2018 well it moves freely now but I don't want to mess it up anymore so ill just wait until the kit shows up, hopefully it will be today lol.
Do like me bro order a new carb online a quality aftermarket ones are like 50$ on ATV surplus I think is what it was called and if you want you can also order it with whatever size jets preinstalled
joe t
Y’all should send me your old carbs:))
@@BTR2018 if it wasn't just rebuilding it I would. I only needed a few parts for it though, it's running good now
Anyways I could send you video of my 06 blaster to see if you could help me with a problem with it
?
Nice vid
My blaster always sounds like its idling at really high rpm even tho the adjustment idle screw is still factory setting as well as mostly everything else, does have a FMF exhaust. PLS help.
What you can do is adjust on the handle bars on the throttle cable.
Or you can remove the tors just cut the black and yellow cables on top of the carb and put them together and cover it with tape and you have remove the tors for free I do it on all my blaster won’t hurt a thing
@@davidblum_ como es eso
@@angelguillen7624 ay veces tienen unos cables arribe del carburador que son como cables eléctricos eso se daña y queda acelerado toca cortarlos y unirlos para eliminarlo y no quede acelerado
Hey my blaster is the same way why does it not have a idle screw please help
Hey man, there is 2 places where you can adjust idle, on your handlebars and also on top of your carburetor (if u still have the stock setup) you’ll have to take the seat off and there where the carb is and the toris system there will be a screw you’ll need a flat screwdriver and u can turn it left or right, you don’t have to turn much for it to adjust.
Thanks hope it helps.
Thank you I did some research and figured it out
Awesome, there’s lots of info online for these blasters, everyone should be able too work on there own quads:))
@@justinsnodgrass7970 what did you do and how did IT Turn out
What size main jet?
260
What tires do u have brand n size ?
Luis Acuna
I believe it was SunF 18x10x8 tires, bought them on eBay.
My blaster ran than I did the carburetor and now when I kickstart it it has no compression
Must be something wrong with the piston.
Quality Video Man And Nice Blaster. Fuck the haters I love my little blaster but it's been giving me pretty much exact same issue lately and been putting off cleaning the carb cause I have fat pudgy fingers so carbs ain't my thing lol. What kinda Mix Do you use and do you have oil injection delete?
Thanks for watching and enjoying the video!
I use 32:1 ratio, yes I alway have the oil injection delete.
@@BTR2018 Same man cant trust them oil injection. I went ahead and cleaned my carb today after seeing your video and it being put up most of the winter. Well damn peckock valve leaking and the throttle ain't working now.. its always something lol
Done ruined my day so I shoved it back in shed and called it a day I'll wait till it's nicer out fuck it lol
@@BTR2018 any advice on the throttle situation?
Maybe the cable came of the carb cap that drives the needle?
Dont u have to take air box off and block exhaust port to do compression test ?
No you don’t have to for a compression test you don’t have to remove any of it but if you want to do a motor leak down test yes you have to block off the exhaust and the intake
How do you change the oil?
Drain plug under the cases.
I need help taking off the carb when you sped it up it didn’t help at alll lol someone pls help
What's the problem take it off on the left side take the clamps off the intake it's going to be a tight fit under the intake you have to take that screw out of the side that stabilizes that it take off that hold down clamp for the the top of carburetor then take off the small black hose on the right side its black oil injector hose easy peasy
Pretty sure that cap is on there tight
Damn!! Next time get a 3 foot pipe wrench to tighten up that carburetor cap!
Show it who's BOSS!
Lol
