The Newgrain App is not working for me so I deleted it. Could successful register but not upload any of my film pics. Tried on iPad and Mac Studio. I only could download pics from Apple Photo not from other folders. If somebody could reply an that it would be helpful. Thanks 👍🔴🤩
Regarding Photopia - your appearance "on stage" is scheduled for Friday, and I can't make it to Hamburg on Friday. Are you there on Saturday and/or Sunday too, even if not on stage?
@@NicosPhotographyShow That's one reason I want to go! I'm only around 2 h by train away from Hamburg (and only that long because there's no direct connection ;-)), and it seems like an interesting fair.
That app looks like it oculd be handy, if I remember to use it. I'm still a bit undecided on the polaroid, but I do really like and am seriously considering if I can get one. And I hadn't heard of Newgrain yet so that's worth looking into.
I wish we could have the old Polaroid film back in production especially 669, and 55. There must be hundreds, and thousands of redundant Polaroid backs out there !
Wondering if it will be a desktop site as well, I mean, if you scan your picture you're behind the computer anyway. Then you need to sent them to your phone in order to share them.
@@NicosPhotographyShow it was a very spamy reply... What I said was that I keep a notebook with me and I keep notes on each frame that I photo. Then when I get the film developed, I scanned them, and update the spreadsheet.
It's easy to see why people hate on the Polaroid i-2? Because the IQ looks like crap. And why should it in the year 2023? Improve your 45 year old film emulsion technology and put a good lens on the thing or don't bother.
I understand some of the complaints with the I-2, but their film emulsion is not 45 years old since the original Polaroid is gone, and the lens is as good as the SX-70. Would it be cool to have a better lens? Sure, but 600 dolars for a Polaroid camera is hard to justify already.
cant wait for another *grain* app in 3 months that gets mentioned by a couple of youtubers and then dies off again. I think making it analog only already made it impossible to succeed as gatekeeping the few users who even try out insta alternatives doesnt sound like a way to success

William Eggleston has a huge collection of Leicas. As in dozens of not hundreds. He should reach out to him about adding them to his database

the spreadsheet looks like this: rttp.us/uploads/Screenshot2023-09-12%20151654.jpg
the field with exiftool.exe sets up something to set all the exif fields in the file with all the film details in the scanned files.

So half of the Analog news are about digital apps. Our world is weird 😂
Internet saved film photography!!
