- We are celebrating the career of Ken Loach, one of the UK's most distinguished and controversial directors, at BFI Southbank and at venues nationwide.
We invited you to submit questions to Loach about his film career, and here are his responses. What advice would he give to budding filmmakers? Has he ever been tempted to move to Hollywood and direct an action film? Can a film be made about the causes of the London riots? And did he really watch Footballers' Wives? Find out the answers to these questions and many more.
Thanks to everyone who submitted a question. We'll be back with another Your Q&A soon!

So interesting, Ken Loach is a huge inspiration to any filmmaker especially in the indie category, the great thing about Ken's movies is that they highlight issues that are relevant to all of us. Ken is so highly talented, delightful and inspiring film director & individual, any new filmmaker or film director can learn a lot from Ken!
ONAIRScotland There is a very good reason for using real actors. They can act. Loach films are simplistic and shambbolic.
We need more films from Ken Loach.
Kez was the first film that made me aware of my own environment.Ken is a Great Unique film maker
Kes was amazing, one teacher sorting out bully, one teacher is a bully so relevant to my own life experience. The way he showed my haunting nightmares as a child !!!!
The best films are the ones we can all relate to in one way or another..........
