Thank you for a very interesting video, Stephen. I planned to come to this show, but then had to cancel for medical reasons. Your video allowed me to see some of the beautiful plants that were at the show. I also followed your recommendations given in one of your earlier video and created two green cabinets for my orchids. It would be very interesting to see an update on your green cabinet - what orchids you grow and what environment you can create for them.
What a fantastic orchid show. Lot’s of beautiful orchids. I really like Blue Ridge orchids. I don’t know if he has a web site or ships. Wish we could get him for one of our shows Thanks for sharing. 🥰
I wish I had been in the path of the eclipse. The last one I saw was when I was in college and it only lasted 93 seconds. Hope your boys got to see it and enjoy it, it is a wonderful thing to see.
Good coverage and nice voice over. The whole judging aspect of the orchid industry/ hobby is fascinating to me. I am still trying to learn being a little newer to the hobby. Thanks for sharing 🤗

I really enjoyed this video! I admire your discipline to come home with 4 orchids, but when space is an issue (for me as well) you plan carefully. The FCC catt is stunning! I love the phals that you featured, but the leaf spread is kind of challenging for me. I look forward to seeing what you’ve done with the new plants.
looks like a great event! dimitri gave us our phal sumatrana, and we also can't get it to thrive. so thanks for the quick insight into that one, we will take it into consideration!! hope you're having a good spring

I was trying to see the % composition of different species in hybrids parentage. While waiting for that website to come back up, do you have any recommendations on alternatives? I know RHS has a website but with all the complex hybrids going back multiple generations, it sometimes gets hard to just get a crude % number. Thanks in advance!
I’ve given up on the greenhouse and will build a shade structure next weekend for summer growing. I’ll buy another orchid cabinet and another orchid tent for winter growing.
