Look forward to seeing this same team listed in the credits (and probably some other great minds not mentioned) pursue further work of this caliber/ calibre. It has touched on many fields of study that would inspire home learners to look more deeply via Google &/or UA-cam. For example, flora & fauna associated with ice fields, old Norse words that have entered English, how melting silt creates frigid turquoise lakes and can block harbors, the Maori name for Mt. Cook and its sacred no-treading designation ... & so on. It would be fascinating to see this level of coverage on the mountainous areas of central Asia, about which we hear so little. Not easy to access, I imagine, but surely there are areas there that merit coverage & maybe UNESCO world heritage status. Many thanks for posting this presentation.
I mean, learning about Antarctica via documentaries has made me want to save it. Going there isn't necessary. I'd argue it's better to learn about it from afar to avoid doing damage to a delicate ecosystem on the verge of collapse

What everyone doesn’t realize is that this melting is a natural process as it is a natural process to freeze again, This happened throughout the earths life, It happens all the time in history, It’s like a revolving door. Ice ages have happened many times and it essentially melts over time and then another ice age happens and the ice takes over everything. It’s a natural process due to the seasons and constant shifting of the poles.
But it has never happened this fast in the history of the planet. Yes it is a natural thing that happens, but over hundreds and thousands of years, not decades.
Only idiots view our climate crisis as a damn political issue. Don’t get your info from Fox News, dude! I trust the actual scientists a lot more. I understand that there is a fortune to be made in the new green energy technologies, however, that’s the case with everything. Those who lie to us have their reasons (and profits) as well.
