if u slow the video down, in between the dimming of the phone and the black screen there's a screen that says "wake up" so i think this is a friend that's concerned about his friend and in the dream his friend potentially died that's why he's not getting a response

I’m absolutely speechless.
This is amazing. Everything is so smooth and fits together to well. It has the flow that most non-studio animations lack. This is honestly better than most studio animations I’ve seen. To the color pallet, to the line art, to the movement, they’re all just puzzle pieces that fit perfectly together. This is absolutely amazing. You have skill, my friend!

The fact that this was 3 years ago, and I still cried at the wear your mask part.
i didn’t realize how much i resonated with this masterpiece-especially the main character, who i assume is the black-haired person-when i first saw it, around the start, maybe a little ways from the start of quarantine i think. my friends still keep in contact with me then, and i was really happy that school’s going to be out for a while and i had a lot of time for myself. looking back, i honestly want to feel that sense of security and belongingness again, a lot has changed since then. my friends don’t chat as often as i do, sometimes for at least 7 to 8 hours i’m talking to myself in the groupchat, and that experience is awfully jarring. like, i know we’re all busy with school, mostly them since their school doesn’t give them much of a break, but...i never expected i’d miss someone this much, but here i am. yeah, god. this isn’t like me at all but, maybe i’ll just cry for now.

This song resonates with me so much. It came out 4 days before I told my(at the time) best friend that I had grown feelings for her. I hadn't told her before because i didn't want to end our friendship. I was hoping that after this quarentine stuff finished, she'd have forgotten about it. Turns out she also had feelings for me. We are now together!

I'm starting college in just a little over a year and I wanted to major in animation but recently I've started to hate my art and wanted to switch majors but this video gave my motivation back!!! Tysm 💕
If it's worth anything, a lot of artists hate their work. It's a strangely common feeling for artists to have.
I hope you'll like it if u decide to major in animation! I'm a second year animation student and it sure is a lot of fun, even though it takes up A LOT of time(especially with frame for frame) ~ I used to dislike my art too most of the time, because before I never got to really find out what I like to do, but in art school i've learned what kind of style I'm actually good at and enjoy more, it's a great place to explore your own skills and if u commit to it it's truly worth it! Maybe try experimenting with different techniques if u get bored looking at ur usual art, it freshens things up and might give u more motivation (oof I didn't mean to write a whole essay :'D but here we are, I'm kind of used to having to give feedback all the time and this triggered my art student urge to give feedback ) anyways, motivation comes and goes so there'll always be times when u feel like giving up, but just keep it up, art styles develop continually, it might just work out in the end!
