I have an F2 star firebird I found with no name. I didn't throw forehands before I found it. I started throwing them and the firebird quickly became my go to forehand disc. My form is probably bad but it hides it lol. I can def get a nice push and reliable fade when thrown flat with it. It's magic to me. I have a raptor and a thunderbird as well. For some reason the Firebird is the only one I can even seem like I can throw a forehand off the tee lol! Backhand its reliable too when I need a hard fade or skip. Its max weight so its controllable in the wind. I am thinking of getting a lighter one for more distance. Great disc.
hahahahahahaha 11:00 nice Sexton Impression! He shows the technique in one of the older practice rounds. One hand is the pivot point, the other hand he uses to spin it!
thanks for making this video! From what I can tell, the doombird 4 I have is basically the same thing so I think I'm gonna wait on this run since I prefer flatter runs of sextons for forehands
@@BodanzaDiscGolfat least stock discs come in bigger runs/portions that tour series discs. Normally same runs are somewhat similar. It is easier and cheaper to get back-ups too. :)
Creepy floating disconnected hands!!! Throwing the fuzion Felon, a white beut. Also just got me a Thundie, it seems to be my kinda of disc, 5 throws in and its a great complement to the Felon and a Big Z Heat =)
For the longes time, I was like why are there snails on the small disc profiles with the scores next to them. Only to realize those are your fingers LOL
Weird question.. I have the same adidas shirt and color, does it have a weird smell as soon as the sun hits it? Almost like a dog smell? Just want to see if I’m just crazy.
150 gram Champion Firebird's rule, all the beef of a normal Firebird with a delayed fade at the end. If you have 2 Champion Firebird's "same dome and PLH" one at 150g and one at 175g the lighter FB will just have a longer straight portion of its flight with the same exact fade portion. Everyone that throws my 150g always thinks it's going to be less stable, which is more often the case but not always true, especially on a very overstable disc with an equal plh. Really overstable light weight discs are a thing of beauty 👍 but obviously not as good on windy days. If you're looking for a wind fighter go 173+ if you're looking for added straight line distance with the same dependable fade try finding a 150g. The problem is 150 gram Champion Firebird's are very hard to come by unfortunately 😑.
I know all about those magnet tree's 🧲🌲... I think they must be some kind of invasive species in my area cuz they seem to be on every course Ive ever played. 😂
If you don't throw Sexybirds, what are you even throwing?!?
Doom bird 4
I have a 158g crazy beef flat top firebird
Big Z Raptor
Draco’s 🫡
ahh the calvin heimburg milenium sexy bird!@@xDadx69
I was pleasantly surprised when I received the April Fools Sexton Firebird. Thank you!!

yeah!! sweet to hear it helped you get confident with a forehand!!!
start working on that form😁

Needs work, but well played!

Travel to Atlanta and come play some golf! Love the videos bro, quickly becoming one of my favorite creators
The parting line is what you should look at when gettings discs. The lower the line the less stable.
that orange shatter van one is GLIDEY
Dude lives in a van and still gets a sexton. I babysat the pc and failed. Thanks innova
Love the color combos but I just can’t get behind tour/signature series discs that differ from run to run.
I think it's just the nature of all discs 🤷♂

😂 I now have a new way to refer to my fingers :)
You should do a video on arm speed with the pocket pro measuring mph
hoping to do stuff with the tech disc or the pocket pro during the off season a bit!
What’s a pocket pro?
@@BodanzaDiscGolf also consider GameProofer
You sent me last years firebird and my son LOVES it!
awesome!! Glad someone's getting good use out of it :)
@@BodanzaDiscGolf well I bought the box for me but somehow all 3 ended up in his bag. 😂 Gotta love kids!
hahaha brutal! Gotta be quicker next time I guess haha@@novapunkx
Perhaps I missed it, but how does it fly compared to the April fools Sexton firebird?
I feel like it's pretty similar. If anything maybe a bit more stable
How would you compare these to the captains raptor
surprisingly I've never thrown a caprap! My guess is slightly less stable
@@BodanzaDiscGolf you definitely need to try and z and the esp ones I feel like they would fit a nice utility slot in your bag

mine does not, luckily I guess!
Definitely need to snag one of these puppies!!!
13:10... that hit inside bottom of the cage?... bummer
Pink! Not a better color. Would love that one!
😂😂😂 “the sole birdie” continues to airball a 15 foot putt.
HEY! I hit the outside chain! Gotta give me some credit there ;)
In my opinion Star Firebird>Champ Firebird. I like the feel better and it’s extremely reliable. Best Forehand disc ever made and my first ever disc.
Nathan Whitcomb is wild 😅

But how’s the glow?
I prefer a star firebird and a big z machete combo
Bodanza Disc Golf, you do realize that NS 2023 Firebird plastic is (color glow) champion, not star plastic? ;))) Your nose was close though. :D
yeah, but it SMELLS like star
I wanted to pick that up, but the raptor has my heart. I started playing in May I think. Probably June
Climo 12x for the win.
Idk man. I was just curious how they smell. Im not a disc sniffer…
😂
Pretty short shorts there, bro...🙈
any chance you could send me one of these??
no?
haha worth a shot man, keep up the great content!
lol for sure! I think they're not crazy marked up on innova's site. That's where I got mine!@@DiscRespect
Have you thrown a Draco?
not technically, but I think it's just an old firebird mold from what I understand
Doubtful
You slipped because of your horrible run up not bc of the pad
noted lol
