One thing I would recommend is if you are comparing discs based on over stability, don't throw them on hyzer/spike hyzer. It's impossible to see any substantial differences when they are already on the most hyzer they can go on.
I've unironically bagged a premium plastic baobab for almost 2 years now. The secret is it's not a disc for throwing air shots. That blunt rim makes it the perfect flick roller disc (both normal flick and thumber flick depending on which way you need to go) It's the ultimate get out of jail free card when you're navigating out of the thick Texas rough. Just throw it directly at the ground in front of you and watch it roll 300'
Theyre terrible for rollers. And you're not rolling one 300' effortlessly like you're claiming. Its completely flat on the edge. It either wants to cut roll because it cant maintain an edge because its literally a square. Or it lands flat and pulls out very quickly because of the weight distribution. Just say you like a corny disc because youre not very good next time.
@@chrisbruchak4519 lol do you somehow think a flat edge is bad for rolling? Have you ever seen a car tire before? The more surface area, the straighter it's going to go for longer. It's not like I'm throwing the same forehand I would for an air shot, it's more like a tomahawk that you throw directly into the ground, so it's not having to flip to get on edge, it's completely perpendicular to the ground upon release. Maybe think logically next time before spewing out your smooth brain responses
@@nicholassparks8841 imagine being stupid enough to compare a tire to a disc. Do your tires typically turn on their own or? You should probably get that looked at if so. The bigger surface area also makes it stop MUCH faster when it hits something or just on the ground in general. When they disc is rolling perfectly flat, it tries to get to its head very quickly. You try to compensate for that by leaning it more to the right and it instantly turns into a cut roller because theres basically no "edge" to ride. The margin for error on the exact angle you need to hit for it to push in any way and not cut roll is very low. Stop your cap ass, bs.
The Baobab and Stego have that spoiler on the topside rim which actually makes them more overstable the harder you throw them. Both are great for rollers and flex shots.
Loved this video. I think it’s worth keeping at least one super OS disc in the bag, for certain scenarios. Zone, Drone, and Monster are my choices for that. Never know when you need that automatic meathook or money flareskip disc.
So you've probably heard of the innova caiman and the gator/gator3. Nice overstable discs. But I'd love for you to get your hand on their big brother... the innova CROC. SUPER BEEF. But unlike the zone OS it will actually glide a bit.
yeah I thought I had another in the van... had to roll with the bun hat lol. I found it in the women's athleisure clothes at a big box store I think! Was super clutch for long hair!
I got a devil hawk a couple of years ago and it had a dome a little less than the one you have. It's in base plastic. I much prefer my zone. The devil hawk has a good flight however I do not like the feel. I bet after a few months of throwing it though it would be much better. I felt like it had sharp edges. Not flashing but shap edges
I have a tournament esp discraft nuke that is way too beefy for my arm speed. I got it as my mystery disc from infinite discs. It goes like 150 ft max. I can realistically throw it about 200 feet if I give it the beans, but idk what to use it for. My arm speed is only good enough for 10 speed max, but I use an inifinite czar as my headwind disc.
Last night, hit a 101 Foot shot made with Zone OS. i ROLL the shit out of that disc too. Without finding that disc i would have quit a long time ago. Its that good to me.
tru, that thing is NUTS! Had a patron send a mystery box last january I think while I was in florida that was half flippy and half BEEF and that was in it. Like a justice on steroids!
From infinite discs: Black Zombie is an operation. We are Apocalyptic Disc Golf with an operation to fight back against baskets around the world which we refer to as Operation Black Zombie. The highest order of alert to combat this worldwide epidemic. Seems like a direct ripoff of Doomsday Discs, which is also made by Lone Star, I think.
@@calebdyer6332 you might be right. Doomsday seems to have shown up around 2021 and Black Zombie maybe a year before as rebranded Gateway discs and 'Black Zombie TV' on YT. I should have read more before commenting. Doomsday seems to be the better known brand though.
That hat really made me look like a chicken...
Won't be wearing that again unless I grow out my hair 😂
Solid advice to self
I came here to ask what that hat was doing 😂

My understanding is that the Stego and Baobab have the same top mold, so they are super similar.

3:31 When Wildcat is about to do some crazy car stunt in GTA. 😂
Baobab is a great forehand roller. Thing is a tire.
Stego brings the beef! You should check out some of our discs that actually fly! 😅
haha, loved the chameleon when I threw it! Feel free to reach out and I can check out a lineup if you'd like :)

I got the cash stash pure i ordered! The stamp is adorable! The pure might become my new putting putter

If you want to test out a weird under stable disc you should check out the Innova mirage. Super fun and easy putter to throw rollers with
Reading this comment just got better and better. *PUTTER* What the haha
I don't throw much Innova but I love the Mirage!! Its great if you like shallow discs and is a great little reliably understable disc!
8:13 throwing a disc straight into traffic. Then taking the same disc and throwing the same shot again... a menace to society.

Zephyrs are fantastic. I grew up on those things
Dude, I’d rock that hat!

The song at 2:56 reminds me of a channel’s video outro but I can’t for the life of me remember who uses it

i think for a disc that can actually be used would be an mvp deflector. the rim feels awesome too! check it out!
Should try them as forehand rollers. I have a Deflector and Zone OS that roll forever.

my buddy bags the stego and is amazing with it
Sad to see there wasn't a Viking Discs Loki in here...
Full turn Shorty and gtwy spell. Lets do this!
What do y’all think of the zone os
But no frag!
not really flippy really but love to see a scorch or astronaut
Weird they put the infection in there, its more of a neutral disc
Have you ever thought about making a video about the Zone OS 😉
great suggestion! might think about it at some point...
The viking discs loki is probably as overstable as the zone os
It's borderline criminal that the Prodiscus Troija wasn't in this box
tru, that thing is NUTS! Had a patron send a mystery box last january I think while I was in florida that was half flippy and half BEEF and that was in it. Like a justice on steroids!
This was my thought. Super sad I left mine sitting in a field somewhere.
Where was 17 tee facing?
Can I have that baobab, I freaking love mine
Man who designed hole 8? A road super close by and youre throwing blind over a fence? I want what the course designer is smoking😂
Pig is the best overstable disc ever made.
Toro is better for me personally. Just feels better in the hand and I get a more consistent release
I want the stego

I think black zone has been around longer than doomsday
I think bz’s previous molds were gateway molded
