Just, wow. This is the most inspiring card craft I have yet seen!! The entire experience of that is immersive and entertaining and very impressive! I HAVE to attempt this one !
Such a lovely, well thought out project!!! One question...on the "t" mechanism, first it was one way and long then it was another way and shorter. The video never really explained the difference or the placement before it cut to the additional video about the lipstick. I'm nervous to get it wrong after I have worked so hard on everything else and have it ruined here at the last stages. I will do some test runs on scraps but really don't know the way that was supposed to work. Thank you in advance.
It’s a beautiful and amazing card but your explanation of installing the compact is not clear. My compact does not open when I open the card. Would appreciate your advice.
You are absolutely correct Elizabeth, I had technical issues while recording that part of the video. I re-did that part to try to explain it in further detail ua-cam.com/video/Ljz_Ex-cVqc/v-deo.html Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi Louise, This is amazing and looks very complicated but I am going to attempt to make for my daughter in law birthday. Thankyou for sharing. What size of magnets did you use as I have to purchase. Thanks so much.
@@susanirwin2759 there is a separate video that shows you a little more clearly how to attach the compact. I had technical problems when I was filming originally ua-cam.com/video/Ljz_Ex-cVqc/v-deo.htmlsi=O3A4XZyWIdCO655z
@@crafty_lou7thank you for your quick reply. Thank you, too, for your fabulous pattern. I'm working on one for my granddaughter for her birthday in June. I appreciate all the attention to detail you have done. I'm not as talented as you so it is taking a very long time for me. Did I miss your instructions on how to assemble the lock? Or is it just a matter of glueing on layers?
@@susancope6135 Also, my camera cut-out just when I was assembling the compact (there is a clever pop-up mechanism for it) so here is the link for that part too ua-cam.com/video/Ljz_Ex-cVqc/v-deo.htmlsi=NNAt5uroiF2cgCNi. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Thank you for the link. It makes it much more understandable. This design is absolutely stunning! You have done a very thorough job attending to detail. I'm working on one for my granddaughter but since I don't do this complicated work often I have to go slowly and have had to redo several parts already and I'm not even halfway through! LOL. Thankfully I don't need it completed until the end of the month.😊
Louise, I am hoping to make this for my daughter's birthday at the end of the month. I have uploaded the files to Design Space, (The Luxury Designer Purse file). However, when I click "Make It", on both my iPad and my PC, I am getting this message: "INCOMPATABLE PROJECT This project is not supported by your current machine selection. To resolve, select OK and adjust affected layers." I am using an Explore Air 2. Design Space doesn't give any hint as to which layer is the problem, nor what the problem is. Do you have any suggestions on what to do?
Ah yes! There are three little line on the lock embellishment for the handbag and they are debossed, which is a tool that can only be used with the Maker. Here is a link to the file again and I have turned it into a "pen" feature instead so Design Space should not give you any more issues (hopefully!). design.cricut.com/landing/project-detail/620c127842796ca0f6fdd005

Love this bag and card !!! I found using a pipe cleaner for the handles works really well.
Great idea! I will have to try that, thank you!

Thank you so much Susan! I used 8 mm by 1mm magnets (very thin but still quite strong) and I purchased them on Amazon.
Thank you, just ordered so now I can start. Wish me luck...lol

Does this still on design space or or need look in laptop
?
They are enormous files so they open much better on a computer, if you have access to one.
Is there not a envelope to go with all your days?
I have a few envelope files in Cricut Community, but this particular project is far too big for an envelope.
What do you put them in to give them?
@@tammycoles9728 This type of project I would deliver by hand but you could certainly put it in a box as a gift?
What are the magnet closures and where can I find them?
I purchase mine on Amazon and I like the 8mm by 1mm ones. Type "Brushed metal pawn type magnetic..." in the search field and look for the tiny ones.
