@@HackThePlanetNow It's deemed a business class but the product is comparable to a first class experience. JetBlue likes to call it the "Mint Experience," and it's truly in a league of its own in terms of its designation as a seat class and as a product.
I thought it was expensive for a domestic flight (even if it was coast to coast) but damn! that was a good plane! great seat, amazing food, great snack/IFE options and nice staff. Jet Blue can have my money!
Mint changed the transcontinental market back when it was first introduced. The seats on OAL were easily over 1000 bucks to 2k for something like this.
Love the engine revving up at 11:16. JetBlue is my go-to airline in Boston. Love them, and the A321s are just beautiful. Look forward to them getting more, and riding them across the pond.
Flew Mint once and I have to say it was great for the price. Only issue I could see (didn’t happen to me but I can see it happening) is that every other row has two seats. If I had the aisle and was laying down I would be angry if the window person had to wake me to go to the batheroom.
I’d agree that’s something I’d also hate... but American delta and United all have 2-2 seating onboard their aircraft... so at least in JetBlue you have a slight chance of not ending up having to climb over/get climbed over
I really enjoyed this trip report. Thank you for not doing what so many trip reporters are doing these days which is excessively using the hyperlapse function at every opportunity and adding annoying dance/club music. I appreciate the fact that you let us simply enjoy the flight in real time just as you did! jetBlue has an excellent inflght product and I look forward to flying them more in the future. Again, you did an excellent job with this flight report!
I just paid $400 for one way fort lauderdale to los angeles, got a credit from a flight cancelled due to the hurricane so I ended up paying $260 for a suite at Jetblue mint!! :)
With the end of one of my favourite airlines, Virgin America, I will now almost always fly JetBlue between New York and Los Angeles and San Francisco. Still it's not exactly a bad thing that mint is now my favourite option
JetBlue is one of the best planes company in America. They have a really good customer service, and you won’t believe the times they have even changed our seat when traveling. They even upgraded them to mint because there was an overbooked flight with the premium seatings.
I rode a new A321 on Jet Blue to from JFK to LAX back in 2015 and I loved it. I was in economy class but there was plenty of legroom and the larger screens made it a comfortable flight.
I just flew the MINT flight last weekend from SAN-JFK and it was AMAZING!!! I only spent $500 for my flight! I'll definitely be flying JetBlue again in the near future and in their MINT section too :)
I love Jetblue. Flew with them from Philly to Ft Lauderdale a few times. I really hope they expand their destinations out of philly to more than FLL and BOS
Loved this video it’s not like the rest were they do a 3 minute Time lapse and talk about everything including the bathroom this video talked about the main things thank you for that.
I tried this about a year ago, also in one of the “suites.” I liked the level of service and the food, but I wasn’t crazy about the seat. With my arm resting on the armrest, I found that the controls were too sensitive-I accidentally kept changing my seat firmness and recline. Also, during recline, the seats in the suites “slide” into the space between the two seats in front of you. It feels like you’re in an MRI tube from the waist down.
Since this was the same day as the inaugural, this would be my third flight of the day, and the second coast to coast flight, and since I can't sleep on planes, I ended up going 40 hours with no sleep.
they were enough for the 5 hour flight, especially since there is also a self service bar, and two other options that you can order any time during the flight
great video / looking forward to our Jet Blue Mint flight in March in a private suite / mine is 4A same as your seat / thanks / btw our flight is SFO to FLL
This Mint service from JetBlue appears to be quite good. Of course I would have liked to get your opinion on seating by the window and the accessibility to the aisle if indeed there are 2-2 seating across. Also, don’t you think the simple meal service took too long to serve? I would expect initial hot towel service to begin about 20 minutes after take off, not 40. Beverage and meal no later than an hour after take off and dessert at the longest 1:25 after take off. Food did not appear to be plentiful as shown on this video. Finishing a meal service 2 hours after departure seems too long and on this flight, it doesn’t allow for too much time to relax and sleep after dinner. The Mint refresher drink and blue chips appear tasty but additive LOL. All in all for $600 dollars, Mint appears to be a great economy premium service with a nice seat.
Last time i flew jet blue i had a horrible experience at Boston Logan due to the fact that everything was dirty at the gate and that after making us wait 7-8 hours at the gate they canceled the flight and after they canceled the flight it took us another 4-5 hours to reschedule it we ended up leaving two days later. We got to the airport at 6 pm and left it at 8 pm thats why me and my family fly delta now
Take this from experience, don’t judge an airline based on a bad first experience. Once we had a delta flight which got delayed 9 hours... the food at the airport gave me food poisoning, then we got canceled. It was a terrible experience, but I can’t plane the airline, it was the terrible weather that caused this
Awesome video thanks for posting, might want to check out left seat window trip to San Juan PR Jet Blue/American! Safe travels and blessings from Gainesville Fl👍🏼🛩🌴😎
JetBlue is probably the best airline in the US. I've flown them several times and every time they have been fantastic. I haven't yet tried their Mint product but I will certainly make a point to, it looks excellent! American, Delta, United take note. This is what First/Business Class domestic should be, not the rip off lame product you offer.
Other than that Jetblue is my main airliner i always fly with them they are very nice in fact this Thursday im flying from here in Puerto Rico to Orlando cause im moving to usa but it always has to be on a a320 ive been on a321 like twice
You can get it from fort Lauderdale to LAX but NY AND Boston the closest airport for mint would be SFO scroll down for your mint routes etc www.jetblue.com/flying-with-us/mint
That is the way a Business Class should look and be in a one aisle plane , Lufthansa and British Airways are you watching this?
This isn’t business class it’s first class.
Jason Becker Domestic first class is the same as international business class.
@@HackThePlanetNow It's deemed a business class but the product is comparable to a first class experience. JetBlue likes to call it the "Mint Experience," and it's truly in a league of its own in terms of its designation as a seat class and as a product.
Lufthansa and BA needs to fix their international business class before they fix their other business classes xD
Lufthansa on Business is so Bad in european flights
I really, really wish that JetBlue would do a route from London to JFK or San Diego. We need you JetBlue! Save us from misery!
andrew ayres they just announced JFK - London in 2021
JFK-London would be achievable but to San Diego! The plane would literally fall out of the sky.
yeah like saving us from coronavirus
The NY - London route is launching later this year!
Your luck lol
JetBlue is an awesome airline.
Grumpys cats Best Friend i totally agree. I’ve flown them a few times from Orlando to Newark
Is the JetBlue in Ohio?

@@ITripReport what airline do you normally fly with?
I got a suite, a week before my flight from LAX to Boston for $649. Thanks for the preview. I'm excited to try the Mint experience.
Man...i just got my JetBlue Mint for $450....grabbed it up just to see what's so special. I cant wait for it......
The food looked great and San Diego at night is beautiful.....thanks!!!!

Yeah .. I hate those as well.. sometimes I even add a "dislike" on them...
Mmm dis mmm dis mmmm dis boom boom boom
600 is not a bad price for a suite
US aviation I thought it looks nice
Emirates first class is $40k
if you take jet blue mint Seattle to Boston at the start of November, price drops to 400
I would pay 600 to get a trans-Atlantic journey with BA on economy LHR - JFK and Jetblue 600 for First Class in a a321.
siegethepro Emirates first class is on an entire different level though.
Canada needs an airline like JetBlue. Awesome video Emil!
That engine sound at 12:06 is music to my ears!!!
I just paid $400 for one way fort lauderdale to los angeles, got a credit from a flight cancelled due to the hurricane so I ended up paying $260 for a suite at Jetblue mint!! :)
8:26 Wow! I like all the JetBlue’s aircraft’s of the same design of the tail!
Excellent report!! JetBlue reminded me of Quantas.. Same level of Service, and open snack bar for all passengers during cruising altitude......
QANTAS
Love JetBlue and the Mint product! Great video!
With the end of one of my favourite airlines, Virgin America, I will now almost always fly JetBlue between New York and Los Angeles and San Francisco. Still it's not exactly a bad thing that mint is now my favourite option
9:54 There's N775JB, the JetBlue "Vets in Blue" livery!
Just imagine if they put first class suite ONLY on domestic routes with economy price, they are gonna take out some competitors for sure
As well as take themselves out lol
D H lol someone who understands business
They would have to jack the prices sky high
I have flown Mint! Love the service and JetBlue, best in the sky! Well done video!

i like jetblue ,that I saw blue color on any flights I get excited

Ok, I have to ask. Did you say "Bye Felicia"?
sadly, I did not say bye Felicia

Thank you for uploading this video as I’m planning to upgrade my seat to this now lol
Mr Lopez stuck in a plane for 5 hours ... this is the way to go
Awesome video man
I'm planning a trip this upcoming march to San Jose using the Mint product (flying in to SFO).

11:15 I LOVE THAT SOUND!!!
American, Delta and United need to take note. This is what domestic business should look like.
As you left the plane, I wish you said "Bye, Felicia"
you always do a great job....keep it up
I love Jetblue. Flew with them from Philly to Ft Lauderdale a few times. I really hope they expand their destinations out of philly to more than FLL and BOS
Same here, wish they can add SJU, MCO and LGB.
Really like that engine sound
Jet Blue is NOT here for play play!
That landing view was so Kai Tak for a moment!
Well all in all JetBlue Mint is incredible transcontinental service, and the price was very reasonable, thanks for the report! Great as always
I have had the pleasure of flying with Felicia in Mint. She is definitely a treasure!
I luv watching sam chui or jeb brooks review flights, but for me im not sure why silent reviews like this is the best
It was AMAZING! I LOVE THE MINT EXPERIENCE AND LOVE YOUR VIDS!
You are watching la familia P. luche, that's awesome dude!
Nice one and I just fly on father's day and I am Orlando Florida now I use regular JetBlue airlines and encomic class flight.
I love watching flight experience especially trip report he does one of the best flight experience videos

These are the same or very similar to British Airways A321, and Brussels Airlines A330.
A330 is a much larger plane
It's incredibly eerie how a lot of your footage looks similar to Nonstop Dan's footage, or that he took this footage to use in his video.
How do you manage to go 40 hours without sleep? What was going on?
Since this was the same day as the inaugural, this would be my third flight of the day, and the second coast to coast flight, and since I can't sleep on planes, I ended up going 40 hours with no sleep.
Very nice video!! I enjoyed it very much!
What's with the "anyways"? Besides that, great video!
Nice video and thank you for using jetblue because its my favorite airline
Great video, totally enjoyed it
I'm based in san too and would love to do what you do!
Awesome!!! Saving my pennies ✈
Layla Sweetman good idea
Great flight reporting, but it would be interesting to also show a bit of the destination airport at the end of the trip.
Wow, what an experience that must've been. I would love to fly Jetblue someday.
MGAIR they are cheap as well :)

complimentary
