- In this POV video I take you behind the wheel of a 2016 Porsche 911 991 Turbo S MK2 for a quick drive. With a 580 Horsepower Twin Turbo flat six engine and a 7 Speed PDK Transmission, this car is literally a rocket!

Man that just made my day. I love when people drive a Porsche like it needs to be driven. All of those exhaust haters on the other video need to relax and tune into this one. You can almost get an idea of what it would be like to be behind the wheel.
There are also some rippin' exhaust systems you can get for the 991.2 gen that serve up the most delicious spool and blow-off sounds.
Over noisy exhaust 🤔 = no class
It should at least sound like the carerra s with a PSE. But no. With all seriousness how can you enjoy a super car that sounds like a vacuum?
It‘s part of what a 911 Turbo is. What you call vacuum (i assume you have never been in one) is the effect of the air being sucked into the turbos and converting it to a thrust that almost gets you dizzy. It’s all personal taste but saying you can’t enjoy a 911 Turbo is hard to understand. If every car sounded like a Lambo then it wouldn’t be special anyway. A true petrolhead should be able to appreciate each super car for its character. Plus, in my opinion, since the 991 models the Turbo sounds (in real life) anything but boring!
@@didinos I own a v8 turbo so I know what you're talking about. But that's not why people say porsche sounds like vacuum. Its a figurative description of the distinct sound that porsches make (without PSE). You know why porsche added a PSE option on the new 992 turbos? It's because of the demand. No one expects supercars to all sound like lambos. The new PSE option imo is perfect. Not too loud not too quite. And it no longer sound like a "vacuum". It's a shame 991 turbos didn't have that option.

This car is way to fast for this italian village b-roads. This was build for the autobahn and 200km/h + ;) Maybe next time.
It's too fast. Floor it for 2 sec and you're going twice or more than everyone else. Looks stunning from outside especially in silver.

It's always going to be my goal to drive and own 991.2 turbo s idc about how good the 992 is how good the one's after will be, always if it depreciates or appreciates idc
Sounds so much better than you think a turbo should sound... only thing is that you can’t hear it accelerating very long on public roads because you’re smashing)g the speed limits within about 3 seconds
For normal road speeds, this car is king. The only one to do it better would be the 720S, and then only if you have the roads that let you stretch it out. 991.2 is totally killer.

What's the difference between the 991.2 and 911?
One and the same. 911 is the model which has undergone many generations. 991 is the latest of them. 991.2 is an update to the 991 generation.
