Attaching rockers to a rocking chair - follow up to "Fitting a joint with two rough curved surfaces"

After sanding the faces between the rocker and the rocker leg to fit one another we attach the rockers using two part epoxy and 3.5" GRK screws

Awesome, keep up the good work! Btw, after you sculpt, carve, sand and smooth those joints do you get a line from using epoxy as opposed to glue? Stay safe

Not on the rockers - on the Maloof joints yes. After a few weeks I get a line from the wood moving and expanding, maybe some glue/oil squeezing out. Ideally I oil a chair, Let the chair sit for a few weeks. I will then lightly sand the chair with 600 grit, re-oil. Thats the ideal situation.
