    JT Mechanical inc. My customer like this really easy and fast setup. I have setup a few of these now and got nothing but good reviews. I like this product and I will be using it a whole lot more. We or located in California where we have very strict watering days. This helps out all of my elderly folks I work for. Thanks again to whoever put this kit together.👍

    Missing something...ON the right position setting; if it is not lined up where you want it, how do you change the right trip point, the arc adjustment can rteduce he arc but it does not fix the right alignment trip point.....what am I missing ^

      I always end up twisting the entire sprinkler body until the “home” position is lined up with the edge of where I want the water to stop and go from there.

    Thanks for leaving out to set the starting point for all the subsequent adjustments! How do you set the right side stop/beginning rotation position? A real world outdoor video would be a major improvement in the presentation.

    Hey man, how do you actually adjust the span in action showing the water flowing. How do you remove the nozzle sizes?
    Are you adjusting with the water flowing so you can actually see where the water is covering or what? Why don't you actually show it man?

      🤣 If you stick it in the 3rd hole and twist, you can pull the riser shaft out to change your nozzle. Now you know what the 3rd hole is for, 7 years later...

    How do we set the position of the spray nozzle for stop and start positions so that its facing the direction you want. You only show turning it to the left to a click then turning it to the right. After that you show what appears to be the degree of rotation adjustment with the tool. You guys need provide better instructions and stop leaving important steps/information out. I guess I am going to have to screw the body to whatever rotation I need to get proper coverage and hope I don't brake the riser tube. P.S. The only reason i bought this product was because of the stated 52' coverage. Otherwise I would have stuck with my K2 Smart-Set heads. And no, that was not a plug for K2, just want people to know there are better products with better videos and instructions.

      Absolutely agree! And no one is replying to our comments. I am guessing either they couldn't care less about their customers or they want to give installers a chance make some income from doing the work for us customers.

      Twist the entire sprinkler body left or right such that the entire sprinkler rotates on the 3/4in threaded (male to female) connection at bottom of sprinkler.

    I didn't really need the :30 infomercial at the beginning. I already bought the Voyager II and know how to get the others if I need them.
    The video just covers what the instruction sheet included with the sprinkler shows. I was hoping to learn how to change nozzles.
    BTW, given there are over 30K views, maybe put some more effort into designing the sprinkler to be more intuitive to adjust. I did find it "incredibly easy" to insert the adjustment key through the cap, but it wasn't so easy to get the pattern I wanted.

  • @jolly968
    @jolly968 6 років тому +4

    Appears easy to adjust when there's no water spraying out of the nozzle, but very tricky when the sprinkler is rotating left and right with water coming out under pressure. When trying to adjust the distance, my plastic nozzle blew off, and I couldn't find it. Sprinkler head should be redesigned so the user could see and change the angle and distance by turning dials/knobs somewhere on the Voyager II with water off even before sprinkler head is installed. I've used this product in the past and worked fine once adjusted.

    I have a brand new unit, I've only tested spray nozzles and patterns with it a few times. Somehow, when I attempt to unscrew from the base the spring seems to be hung on something, perhaps some of the gear internals. I have to pull with a lot of force and eventually it will pop out but it feels like something will end up breaking if it the spring continues to get hung up each time.

    Would have been better if you explained that over doing the adjustment would make the screw fall out with the nozel, basically breaking it until you can buy another screw.

    You don't show how to adjust either the left or right pattern starting point. I've lost the instructions and my adjustable head, set to about 90 degrees, has over time, migrated about 15 degrees to the right. Was hoping this video would show how to correct that, not just show how to make the arc larger or smaller.

    ORBIT Rotary..... without doubt the WORST rotary sprinklers on the market. Lose your proprietary tool and you are skrood. MUCH better are the K1 and K2 rotary sprinklers, they use a screwdriver to adjust! Only takes a second, and no special tool to lose. They also last longer and spray better than the ORBIT brand. I have no ties to K sprinklers, they are just superior.
