The green is ALSO my favorite!!! with the obvious exception of the ones you made for my wardrobe 🤪💖❤️
Hi other Liv! You are slowly convincing me to try crocheting after seeing your patterns and oversized sweaters-those sleeves! So cute!
@@oliviamccollum4573 thank you! You should totally try crocheting! I think it’s so satisfying to make your own clothes so you can tailor the fit to your liking!
There's so many lovely pieces here it's hard to pick just one, but for the style and the colour way I think it would be the second one, the Fall Fanatic sweater, gorgeous! I live in Australia so probably couldn't get that yarn even if it hadn't been discontinued but I like the colours that much that I think I'm going to try and use the same colours anyway, will just have more ends to weave in but I think it's worth it!
I'm really impressed with your abilities and love your colour palette, great neutrals and earthy tones.
I felt like the jumper you were wearing looked like the Autumn stripes yarn from hobby lobby, really pretty and lovely colours. The hexagon cardigans are gorgeous too, really inspiring me to try and replicate some of these for myself, thanks! :)
@@alwayslearning9272 thank you! If it’s any help, the gal fanatic sweater was made with yarn bee glowing yarn! I can’t remember the exact color way but hopefully that can help you pin down the colors more.
Thanks for the added information, I'll look that yarn up to get a more precise idea of the colours.
Really glad I stumbled across your channel, love your style and colour palette so much, thanks! 😊
I’m hoping I can finish the pumpkin puff sweater by THIS year’s Thanksgiving since 2024’s Thanksgiving didn’t happen. 😂
@@eh3ali it happens to the best of us😂💛
@ being sick for November and December with pneumonia and ending up in the hospital a week before Christmas really put a pause on everything in life 😂😩
@ oh no!! That’s terrible! I hope you’re doing better now!
Sorry, I keep coming back with more questions! :) I wanted to know if you have a link to a tutorial or a pattern link for the star sweater in browns and purples, I think you said it was from Tina creates??
I tried looking up her channel but could only find someone who makes cards but there wasn't a star pattern on that channel, so if you can direct me to where that may be found that would be great! Thanks :)
@@alwayslearning9272 her shop is tnacreates on Etsy (also tnacreates on TikTok) I don’t believe she has a video tutorial though. And don’t feel bad for coming with questions! I’ll answer them all the best I can :)
@@Agirlinstitches Thank you for this information. I had a look at the pattern on her Etsy shop but was a bit put off from purchasing as many people left comments saying that the adapations/alterations part of the pattern was quite vague and unclear and I know I would need that part of the pattern to guide me, so if it's not easy to understand or clear enough I would most likely get stuck and not be able to finish it.
There was actually one person who said they had to abandon completing their jumper because they couldn't work out how to get past some parts and the pattern didn't give enough instructions for that, so as I'm not one to buy patterns normally anyway I don't think I'd want to spend on one that won't be enough guidance. I'm also more of a visual learner so aren't that great at following patterns, so could only do so if it was completely easy and clear to follow.
It's given me some ideas though nonetheless, and like you said for the first jumper you mentioned where you saw something similar and decided you could recreate it I may take that idea and try to do that myself. I was thinking you could probably start out with the beginning part of the very popular 6 day star blanket and then work out the rest from there, that would give me the star shape on the front at least??
Also, I've never done any pattern sampling before but if you do ever have your pattern sample available for the jumper you were wearing and can provide details of how to do that I'd happily give it a go! I've been crocheting for a bit over 2 years now and decided at the end of last year that 2025 would be my year for making wearables and giving that a go, so making the jumper you are wearing would be such a privilege if I could get to do that. I don't really get into other social media platforms but if you had the details some other way I'd be extremely interested. Thanks :)
