Loki did so well in the snow! I first introduce my cats to snow by bringing in a mug or bowl of it to check out inside, where they are more comfortable. Even so, I haven't had a cat yet that is very happy with cold/wet paws!

It's magical, isn't it? Also, I'm glad you finally got to go sledding. I personally think that deliberately wiping or bailing out while sledding is one of the more fun things you could do.
It is fun to wipe out but I was being pretty serious about it there for a minute.

You should try a sled with runners that have little contact on the bottom, less friction more speed, plus more control with your legs, however when the snow is very deep the one you got now gets better. Just be careful I have done some damage doing this from large hills heh.

Yeah, the hill I sled on is not flat; it's convex, so I often drift off to the side and almost always have to bail out to avoid hitting trees, cars, curbs, etc. It's so fun though. I crashed into a kid's snow fort at the bottom one time and just demolished it. Next thing you know, his dad came sledding down in a snowball attack. Good times.
