12:48 "the kids need to be wet" is an insane statement joez lmao
came here to time stamp that one lol glad Jake at least gave him a look
Getting a little R. Kelly....
I read your comment before watching the video. I forgot about it… and then ended up audibly laughing when I heard Joez say it.
🙌🔽
The look Jake gave him made me die
so out of pocket came down here to make sure someone noted it lmaoo
When your only weakness is your voice, and you know your friends will never let you live it down if it cracks on national tv.
All-Time Event Leaderboard Update
Slam Dunk:
- Matt ties Dan of “Best trio of contestant yet” episode with 10 and first place in this event
- Tommy ties Bryan of “Are these refs cheating the kids” episode with 9 and second place in this event
Longest Yard:
- Tommy sets a new all-time mark of 22’ 11”, besting Jilly of S02E03 mark of 21’ 3”
Jump! Jump!
- First, Nick set the all-time mark with his 17.0 run but
- Tommy broke it with his 15.3; previous number one Kris of S03E01 had 19.2 and now sits in third
Tommy set (2) first place marks and landed a second place in a third event. Similar debut’s have been had by Drew of S03E07. Only Vic of S03E02 and the infamous bird in the hand Chris of S02E01 debut and landed (3) first all-time marks. 👏
@robertcrist124 you are doing god's work
Next week I am planning on running through all the previous episodes and compiling the relevant data (color, event, outcome, etc) to create a series of reference tables that will enable what will undoubtedly be my magnus opus: sabermetrics but for watching/playing guts
would you mind me asking how you have been structuring the data you capture that lets you spit out such glorious stats such as what you have here?
@@mattsowers8145 oh god pls @ me here when that's public!
Such benevolent kingliness!
@@mattsowers8145Thank ha. Sounds like you’re a fan of the show too. Little letdown, I just watch the episode and manually type the data on a Google
Sheet, no algorithm or anything. I’ve also been watching just color as it pertains to episode success, with mini focus on the crag, that info is below.
Stats Update
45 episodes
Wins (overall): P20; B11; R14
Wins (Crag event): P19; B14; R12
2nd place in Crag: P10; B19; R17
3rd place in Crag: P16; B12; R;17
Leader into Crag: P20; B17; R16
Note: due to ties, leader into crag may not correlate per episode number
Unrelated but totally related question do you spend unholy amounts of time on baseball/football reference? Because this is “I wonder how much WAR Magglio Ordonez compiled in in 2007, holy shit that’s a lot who won MVP that year” type energy
I smile every time Jimmy makes an insincere, smartass provocative prediction or assessment and then shoots Zack the twinkly-eyed smirk.
"YOU GUYS ARE PITY CHEERING" LMAOOOO TELL EM JAKE!! DONT LET THEM GASLIGHT YOU!
If Nick was in any other episode he could've been a 2nd placer or even a winner.
Came here to say this.
Easily a winner in most episodes. He was good compared to almost any of the other contestants. These other two were just the best I’ve ever seen.
Nick would be 1st in probably 85% of episodes. He’s Ken Griffey Jr. in ‘98.
At this point, it’s not far fetched to say that we are witnessing the beginning of a Patriots level JoeZack dynasty.
Matt and Tommy’s finish on the Aggro Crag was the most epic finish ever in Guts, even closer than Ginger’s comeback vs David and Derek. 22:40
Which ep was that?
@@philarcuri6338 The episode with "little dynamite" aka Ginger who won the Crag despite having to go back down after missing an actuator
Two all time great competitors
And a decent 3rd placer.
Somebody help that kid in the trunk!!
😂😂 Jake’s face
Is he still in there???
6:23 Herbert the pervert from Family Guy
JOEZACK needs to lean harder into Jimmy and Jake with their dominance. Some all time quotes from them this ep, “You see 9, but I see 10” and “You know what I like better than interviews, performance”
That was a battle. Back to back 3rd pick wins for joezack to start the season is huge.
We have here one of the best crop of kids and there’s no elastic jungle? What a miss!
10, 9, 6 on the basketball event is ridiculous. I think it was more like 20, 16, 12.
I can't wait for Global Guts
It’s crazy that “watching guts” got me into your channel, and now I’ve watched all the warehouse games and follow all your baseball videos! Gotta love it
This might be the funniest episode to date. Holy shit 😂
Poor Nick would have been a winner on so many other episodes. Also, the fact they don't realize that the placings of the Aggro Crag light up at the end until the 4th Season (+ Lockdown eps) is mind blowing.
Seriously. He is the GUTS equivalent of the 1981 Cincinnati Reds.
I used to continually leave a time stamp and a comment calling that guy Charles Bronson - until someone told me his name and claimed that he used to do stunts for Charles Bronson in movies. I looked it up, and it’s actually true.
3:03 (it’s quick)
Yes! I always think of Bronson too! That stache!
Is it Robert Bronzi? Where did you find that he was on Guts? I remember seeing something on television about Bronzi once. He has had a really interesting life, and looks exactly like Bronson.
@@BobbySacamano I don’t remember his name. It was provided to me and I forgot. Look that guy up that you mentioned. If GUTS is mentioned on his imdb page, then that’s him.
@@johnnydropkicks Kim Kahana. Another one of his stuntman. Looks a lot like Bronson, but Bonzi is uncanny.
@@BobbySacamano That’s his name! Once I saw it, I recognized it. 👍
I love how Jimmy thinks that running in water will be faster than swimming.
22:41 photo finish and the guys’ faces are great 😅
lol I love when Zack chimes in with some shots 9:20 " You know what I like better than interviews , performance" lol yess
Jimmy hitting the Mrs Racheal hop hop hop was what I needed in this episode
17:21 "He's been last. He sucked!" 😂😂
Let's go JOEZACK!!!
Monday just got better
iconic miss rachel reference from jim
JoeZack continuing to draft perfectly.
"Continuing to be handed wins by horrible drafters." There, fixed it for you 😀
@@erikwaters (that's the joke)
back to back wins for joezack is masssssive
Jimmy reping the dads, signing ms Rachel 17:01
The Aggro Crag will now be referred to as the "Actualator Elevator".
YAY!! THE MATH IS RIGHT!!!!
MATH RULZ!!!
I’m somewhat of a math bad boy myself - a math maverick, if you will.
We most certainly will not
6:08 Im literally crying tears 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 omggggg
Wow didn't expect this upload on Monday. Awesome! :)
I went frame by frame on the finish and it looks like an exact tie. I hope they were using real lockout buzzers or something like that.
One of the best episodes of Watching Guts ever!!! 😂
Jake shouting out Staten Island automatically makes this a top tier episode for me. That and all the despair.
Joezack dominating without even drafting once, this is humiliation for Jimmy and Jake
The competitiveness of the pool race & that glorious interview after are the moments I watch Watchin' Guts for
What an electric finish great ep yet again
liking this scoring system so far. Puts more weight on choosing the competitors vs just winning the episode. Not sure how I would have felt if someone had got stuck with blue as a 3-pick… but luckily that didn’t happen.
with this 2nd consective dub, Joezach have put together the most impressive 3rd round draft performance I've seen.
God, since they've still got their 1st/2nd round picks to go, this season could start looking like shades of Tiger circa 2000 at Pebble Beach in terms of dominance over the field.
"Actulator, Elevator 🤷" - Joez Mcfly
This is the best group of athletic kids I've seen.
More fist pumps and karate dancing around my office when they announced Matt won The Crag. Coworkers still suspect nothing. Thanks for the excitement #TeamJoeZack 🤘🏻
"Would you like to trade and get off Nick?" had me cracking up
Ahhh frickin love this series to much 😮
JOEZ with back-to-back 3rd picks going 1st is massive.
Truly two good episodes to be the third pick
Sick click on the video and the top comment just shows under the video and spoils the episode nice
@@TheHolt100 cry about it
@@SadBoys.1996 I’m weeping uncontrollably, got me.
@@TheHolt100 Rookie mistake.
Another W for Zach! Let's go!
Nick stops at the base of the final climb, wipes off his helmet. A fashion model to the end.
hahaha "you'd call services" that's brilliantly funny! touché
can we get a close up jake holding his nose looking up with complete contempt for his kid on a t-shirt
Will Jo Zack ever have to make a pick this season? Or will jimmy and Jake keep leaving the winner to them?
a very simple thought by me but i always enjoy when the blitzball comes out it looks cool
JoeZack with back to back 3rd pick wins is insane!
what a great ep
This has to be the best crop so far on these video's, great ep to have the third pick 😂
That first event looked like the end of the scene from the movie "Airplane" - the one where Ted teaches the Malombo Tribe about basketball.
Nick was covered in glitter at the end.
What an ending!!! 🎊 🎉 Let’s go JoeZack!!
K, if you guys CANT get Mo, I’d be okay with a Mike O’Malley cameo.
Joezack continues their dominance, as a supporter I am truly astounded how they nail every pick.
Man the points have skyrocketed this season
My wife heard me watching this and freaked out because she thought our kid was stuck in a trunk
Matt on the verge of tears after winning an event
4:09 "Woogity Woogity Woogity"
Underrated reference
the elastic band action on the basketball event was insane. I think if the kid is above a critical mass, the elastics really enhance performance.
Jake complaining about his dud but any other episode he'd be a winner. and wow what competition from purple and red. both truly deserved to win and obviously any other crop purple is dominating. I hope those 2 are on a future all star episode

Team JoeZ!!!!! coming in clutch with their 3 picks!!
so glad you guys changed the scoring! that 8-piece by Jake is gonna hurt bad later in the season!!
We haven't seen long jump form this good since Little Dynamite!
What in gods name is the points math going on in the end?! 😂
JOEZACK!!
Lately Jake feels like Joez in the preseason era. Just gets unlucky when he has a competitor
Jim skipping the slo Mo replay is an all time frustrating moment
Yeah that one dude looks exactly like Charles Bronson, I just didn't say anything because I didn't want to sound 10000 years old.
What a great episode!
Team joezack for life.
Imagine if Tommy was in last episode... they would have given him 2 pieces of the craig! Also. Blue was a usual first as well in most episodes. 100% best crop probably ever.
I've always thought that guy looks like Charles Bronson X)
The first kid talking sounded like an out of breath mickey mouse
The looks of astonishment .
FuckN A 1st event is SICK. BANG BANG. GONNA BE A SICK EPISODE!
LETS GO JOEZ!!!!!!
17:00 Jomboy breaking out the Ms. Rachel. Good dad.
Mustache guy also looks like the Hispanic cut man from UFC/Edward James Olmos
Joezack are killing this season and they haven't even gotten a 1st/2nd pick yet
I don't know what media player they use, but you can use '' to move frame by frame.
They seem to land on the same frame
That's tough for Jimmy, he's bringing a great attitude this season and he's had some hard luck picks. Seems like he's playing for the love of the game and enjoying his GUTS. Rooting for him to get his first win now.
Pffft, 3 seasons of bad will catching up. He's got the GUTS yips.
bring those two kids back for the warehouse see if they still have that fire
you guys should run your own version of Guts w the 3 of you ... Include Mo somehow
Tommy the flying gutsman!
JoeZack gonna win this season from the 3 hole.
Joez “Acculator” McFly at it again
Soooofunny love this ep😊
There have never been 3 jumps in that long jump event. It's always been 2 chances
Red got a huge advantage being middle lane in totally tubular
Jake's kid would've won at least half the episodes shown so far. He's like Sham in the 1973 Triple Crown races - a great competitor that had the unfortunate luck of going against the greatest of all time.
Jimmy has been watching little baby bum with kiddo haha
Amusement park attacker.😮😮😮
The most upsetting thing about this episode was the cut away from the Excel formula. I was about to watch the rainman at work…
