The daughter of Issar Harel, the famous head of the Israeli Mossad, told the story how she always thought her father was a minor official in the Treasury until, when she was in the military, she was invited to a talk by The Security Boss only to be totally astonished to find out that it was her own father.

Add a gentleman’s grandmothers funeral, he found out that his grandmother was a trained agent during and after World War II she was skilled in all forms of firearms and other weapons. It was at the funeral that they found out about granny’s other life. Unfortunately he did not learn of any stories or specifics. The reason why he learned of this is because of the metals that she had earned during World War II, which she wore to the grave. Yeah no written account of anything and never told anyone including her husband.

When I was in high school, our French teacher was in counter espionage, espionage, and a spy during World War II
It was something like indeterminate height maybe 5 foot or 4’10”? His complexion was nondescript, in every way if someone would not even notice or realize was there, he was as interesting as wallpaper paste. This is exactly what a spy so just be needed to be. He spoke with in French and had A Parisian accent.

Actually in one episode he is made number 1, for a few days. Poor old UK never knew who to believe after the debacle with so many moles that were created in Oxford during the 1920s. It made the series "the prisoner" enevitable.

My maternal grandfather was an intelligence officer in a previous regime, before we became independent. I never knew about this until a couple of years after his death(died way too young) when somebody leaked some documents online about ex agents. It was a pretty big scandal when those documents got leaked.
He was just a lawyer as far as I was concerned. I knew that he worked for the resistance during ww2,told me some interesting stories(I would have shat a brick if I was in his shoes. He said they felt the same but they were young and foolhardy plus they felt they had to defend their homes ). But nothing like james bond ,it was more like unexpected situations that they haven't predicted like stockpiling guns for the resistance and a german officer comes in to inspect the farm (or take supplies or something) and my grandfather offers the germans home-made schnapps and they got drunk and forgot to inspect and just went back to their base or whatever they did. Stuff like that.

in the 80s Sergeant Clayton Lonetree was a guard at the US embassy in Moscow. He got into a relationship with a Russian woman. After 6 weeks, KGB agents showed him tapes of having sex with her, telling him she was an agent, and blackmailed him into handing over documents from the embassy in Vienna.
In the rank of spy networks in the 80's, you had the Russians way on top, then the British, then the US a distant third, despite the Russians having a fraction the money the US paid out.

Dashlane, the software "solution" that makes it easier for one to get access to all your passwords at once. Instead of gaining access to each set of credentials individually, you only need to get into this one and then change all the passwords, including the login to Dashlane. People need to know that by consolidating all of these passwords you effectively change the target and greatly enhance the payout for malicious persons.
