Jewel usually has more than 16 blue cards. Blue sources should be 8-10. It's not as unlikely as you make it seem. In general turn 1 ancestral with fow backup is high rolling for any deck.
Those are not good enough numbers imo They are better now that people finally are on sink into stupor x4. But we can do other things like turn city into a blue mana land
Played against a Fiddle bender stifle naught deck + turbo vault key lurrus deck at our locals this week, its has less fluff with the alternate dreadnought win. He uses dress down and the doorkeeper thrull.
Similar to the question in the other video about ponder, have you tested the uw surveil land over the third tundra? Watching these leagues, to me it's really felt like you often had fetchlands for mana you didn't need, and also felt like you could use sliiightly more selection in the midgame to get to your good cards. There's obviously costs to having a tapland, like if it was in your hand turn 1 in game 2 your ancestral would have been far more awkward to cast, but as someone not in the driver's seat it's really felt like the games you lose are because you aren't finding the right cards fast enough (or your opponent nut draws), and having slightly more selection would go a long way.
@@IamActuallyLvL1 Def agree there's a big risk associated, if you weren't already on 3 tundra I'd probably not suggest it. I think for the pace of the games I've seen from this deck it probably is safe. However, it's hard to judge how often the surveil helps you vs how often the tapland hurts you without directly testing it for a lot of reps.
@@negativerainbowa 3rd lorien revealed instead of the 3rd tundra is another option. Thats what Hank Zhong runs- i wonder how he feels about the 14th land vs the 3rd lorien
3 previously recorded videos from before EW NA this week!
I'm in Austria before EW EU!

Havnt tested but believe it could be good. But not being able to t1 play if u draw it is very high cost
