      @sujonmiah2941 I am not sure about that. I have used it on a badly healed spider bite and the area is now clearing up. My logic was if this helps my scalp which is JUST skin in a sense, then surely it should help my skin skin. Research research as this stuff is pretty harsh 💜

    Been using head and shoulders lol really cuts the grease on shoulders back and also for dandruff. Usually three minutes. I don't know if it's fungal but I have extremely oily scalp and body in general.

      the yeast that causes it feeds off oil, so that's definitely an environment for it.

    Used vanicream dandruff shampoo before bed and the next morning I already seen an improvement. I know everyone is different, but I feel like this is a good in general indicator of if it’s fungal acne or not. It seems to work fast and give noticeable results after one use

      @@mostepicscenes199 I don’t really think it’s something you necessarily get rid of as much as it is something that you deal with or keep it at bay. I mean I’m not completely sure and everyone is different and I’m sure there’s a bunch of things you can do,but it’s skincare And it’s not an overnight process like magic lol. I really wish it was though. Where is my magic wand? I ended up buying off of Amazon, a bar of soap that is formulated for the skin, but has the same active ingredient as the shampoo, but is meant for the skin. Also, I have closed comedonal acne I’m not sure if you do too, I also have oily skin and these things can be really drying but for me what I’ve been doing is using the bar, salicylic mama and serum, sulfur mask And vitamin C, serum, and a light moisturizer. When I first started, I went overboard and wicked bad, dried out my skin, so just add things gradually.

    • @bribango8981
      @bribango8981 9 місяців тому +1

      Salicylic mask***** also, definitely don’t use both masks in the same day. Like I said, everybody’s skin is different, so just gradually add things give your skin time to adjust and don’t overdo it like I did lol. The first thing I used was that Vanni cream shampoo, And honestly, that’s the thing that made me go out and buy all these products because it worked and I felt like I had a diagnosis for my skin. Use the shampoo and see how you feel. Don’t leave it on your skin for too long but for a couple minutes. Nobody knows your skin as well as you so feel it out. Also, I bought anti-fungal cream off of Amazon that has the active ingredient and I use that a couple times a week and oddly enough it is moisturizing. So it’s kind of cool because you don’t have to worry about over moisturizing your skin and making the situation worse

    Question! I use Nizoral for my scalp and face and it works, I definitely have fungal acne and S. Dermatitis ... but I tried it for about a week on my bumpy arms, which I had always assumed was KP, and they got soooo smooth and 99% of the bumps went away. Does that mean it wasn't KP and was actually fungal acne on my arms? Or is it possible for Nizoral/ketoconazol to actually help treat KP as well?

    • @Slvt4lanadelrey
      @Slvt4lanadelrey 10 місяців тому

      Yes! Because KP can often look VERY similar to fungal acne. KP can often go away slowly with exfoliation 2x per week but if it doesn't leave then it is most likely fungal. Also, I don't recommend the shampoo for anyone with sensitive skin. The key ingredient in those shampoos is pyrithione zinc, and you can also get a zinc serum specifically tailored for skin. I hope that clears it up

      Use it in the shower as part of your showering routine. Also, don't lather it, spread it on your face and try not to rub it in/create as few bubbles as possible. I like to leave mine sit on my face while I shave my armpits, it's just the right amount of time for it to work its magic before rinsing without irritating my skin.
      Follow up with a light weight moisturizer afterwards. Try not to use something heavy like a creamy moisturizer as that may feed a new growth of the fungus/yeast. Something lightweight that really melts into your skin is preferred. (I swear by the Soothe moisturizer from Rodan and Fields but it's hella expensive, so I usually just get a small bottle once a year, if that, for Christmas. Otherwise, CeraVe makes some nice lightweight moisturizers that are gentle for skin).

    Doctor_Can I put ketaconazal soap or shampoo on face during pregnancy for 30 or 1 min?

    • @Slvt4lanadelrey
      @Slvt4lanadelrey 10 місяців тому

      The rules dont change for pregnancy (since you are not ingesting it and it does not damage the skin in any way that the white blood cells may need to repair it) Typically, when a patient is pregnant, they are told not to use specific types of "skincare" because those skincare puncture the skin (not in a bad way) and require the buildup of white blood cells to renew the skin and the body can only focus on one thing at a time; the baby or the wound. But in this case, none of it is happening, so the main answer is, nothing changes, keep it on for 2-3 minutes and wash it off.

    How can I treat scalp ringworm I use anti dandruff shampoo. I’ll stick to no oral and I leave it on for 5 min I only wash hair once a week as my hair is reaaaally long. I might try twice a week and just focus on the scalp. There’s only 2 red patches at the front of my head. Will tretinoin cream applied to them help ? Or instead of washing twice a week can I just apply the muskrat to the two patches leave on for 5 min then rinse off ?

    • @Slvt4lanadelrey

      Instead of using an anti-dandruff shampoo, consider using a medicated antifungal shampoo containing ingredients like ketoconazole or selenium sulfide, and follow the product's instructions for application and leave-on time to effectively treat the ringworm infection.
