- Vive la race de nos Rois (Long live the line of our Kings) is the finale of Jean-Philippe Rameau’s opera Acante et Céphise from 1751. The opera was written to celebrate the birth of Prince Louis, Duke of Burgundy, the elder brother of the future King Louis XVI.

My favorite dynasty is by far the bourbons in France, Spain, Two-Sicilies and Luxembourg ! During the time of the Order of St John in Malta, they were the main benefactors of most of our baroque churches and cities. A good example is the medieval city of Mdina which was destroyed by an earthquake in 1693 and was then rebuilt in a grand baroque plan by French architecture Charles Francois De Mondion in the early 1700s. He was personally sent by king Louis XVI

Louis XV become king of France in 1715 , after the death of his grand-grandfather Louis XIV , know as "The Sun King" . As Louis XV have 5 years old when take the throne , his uncle , Phillipe ll , the Duke of Orleans become regent of Kingdom of France , until his death in 1723. Louis XV was officially crowned as king at the age of 13
Non pas en 1733 , mais en 1723 , de l mort du régent fin 1723 à 1726 ce fut le Duc de Bourbon qui devint le principal ministre , ensuite, de 1726 à 1743 ce fut le tour du cardinal de Fleury d'être le principal ministre de Louis XV. Ensuite il n'y eut plus de principal ministre, mais le Duc de Choiseul , ministre de la guerre , Ministre des Affaires étrangères et également Ministre de la Marine et des Colonies dirigea le gouvernement jusqu'en 1770 , avant de céder la place à René Nicolas de Maupéou le 24 Décembre 1770 . Ce ministre, appuyé par le souverain, tenta la célébre réforme Maupéou (qui comportait la suppression de la vénalité des charges , la justice rendue gratuite, les magistrats sont désignés par le roi et rétribués par l'État.) le parlement hostile aux changements fut exilé...Hélas, le rappel de celui ci par Louis XVI ruina cette réforme...

The first image is Collioure, it's a lovely village in the Roussillon in southern France.
I am not 100% sure of it but the port and the buildings look really similar.
