The way u felt about central cee's verse on this Amapiano song was the same way an American youtuber(reaction) felt when he heard Asakes verse on Tems Album. Funny enough u both liked the adlibs on each aswell. I think I get the reason why though.

As someone who lives in the UK and understands the UK music scene and culture, I believe it was a good verse, but it was on the wrong beat.
