I’ve had my nano for over a year, actually just brought it out of storage today 6-26-23 to charge the battery. I’ve never heard of this triple tube til now, thank you for this video, i might start carrying my nano more often now.
Thought this was stupid, but if that’s the run time then that’s great! Got to get one of those, plus I already have the stream light pocket clip and magnet attachment, great video man. 👍
Lol, I'm dying! All that time, money, and effort, not to mention all the buildup, all of that for a Star Wars joke! Thank you, I needed that laugh today!
Also I will say that with the very long but thin light, slim carries well! I was a knife person before I really got into flashlights, and you'd be surprised at the amount of blade you can fit in your pocket if it is thin. it needs a pocket clip but it could just melt into the back of a pocket. You'd probably want to carry bezel up though!
Swapping is easy. Even I could do it after watching your videos. I took your recommendation on swapping a SST-40 to a XM-L2 and I love it. Comes out at about 4000k and super rosy.
The non-aluminium Nano's all have copper PCB's. With the 10440 extension tube, you can run these on turbo without damaging the light. With the aluminium Nano, you can't do this as it does not have a copper PCB (Lumintop have a warning about this on the 10440 extension page).
@@cheule Ah, interesting. When I got my Nano and extension, Lumintop had the warning that extended turbo on the aluminium version could damage the light (the vendor that sold it to me had the same warning). Can't find the extension page on the Lumintop website any longer, they must have changed it, mine would have been one of the original Nano's.
Also with the ace beam 10900 or Nicron 10840 you can run it with the 3xAAA + 1 dummy cell both 10900 and 10840 have mah of 600-800 mah but insert it from the rear both are replacement for 2xAAA while being 3.7V but cause of th3 USB charger both are a bit chunky. If you insert it form the rear is easier to remove . The run time is much longer! Sadly nano pro eats the batteries like I do McDonald’s French fries LOL😂😂😂
Lights a target up some whole yards away huh! Lol id hole so haha but yeah the GT Nano absolutely shocked the shit out of me seeing it throw that 450 lumens yeeting it into the abyss haha. I also have the 10440 option plus I have the AAA adapter coming with my frog kit. I almost got the gt Nano pro but the frog was on sale for a decent price with all the accessories so it just made more sense. I absolutely want one of the more full size versions too sometime down the road!
Sorry, I made the assumption that most of my audience was familiar with this venerable light. I will think about making an addendum video in the future.

I love my 10440 Nano and you're telling me I'm already halfway to a triple-triple?? Excuse me while I go treat myself.
I got the 10440 tube, it's a must....cool vid. Love your channel and the new content! ✌️
That reminded me of the old police flashlights 😂 man that’s really cool, thanks for posting

You can also ad a 10440 + 2x Dummy cells I use the HyperPS dummy cells.

The Titanium Version is my favorite they upgraded to the 3.0 with USB C charging built into the GT Nano
It's adorable I need one.
I ignored the warning😢 used the extension tube (10440) my emitter spoiled
Sorry to hear that!

I am so glad to hear this! Thanks for reporting your success!
acebeam k75 will be much better than convoy l7? Is it worth paying extra for it?
Omg yes. The K75 destroys the L7 and rivals the much larger and much more expensive MF05+
Have you tried the GT Nano Pro? It’s also floody and it has 3 LEDS
Ah man. I thought you might put it next to the BLF GT. Great video!
That was a good idea!
I was waiting for you to take those flashlight outside, wanted to see that light sabre in reality
Sorry about that, I just make the mistake that everyone has seen a GT nano’s beam. Bad assumption. I’ll make an addendum video soon.
Tried the short extension tube on the frog and it's not working. I used a regular alkaline aaa. Am I doing something incorrectly?
The short extension by itself is for 10440 battery. The driver requires 3v, which a single AAA won't provide.
@@cheule so even a single LIO aaa won't work?
can it use lumintop edc01 tube?
Will the frog or nano with the small extension tube run on any type of non rechargeable aaa?
To run on 1.5v cells you need to have three in series to bring them up to 4.5v
i have two lights with osram blue leds and osram red leds. they DO make blue w1s and w2s
Lumintop sells the nano with W1 blue? Where?
@@cheule i misunderstood you. i thought you said they dont make a blue led at all.

My aluminum GT nano most definitely had a copper MCPCB (I reflowed it). I think there have been several revisions, however.

.... I have the extension tube on my stock aluminum Nano GT, and it still works perfectly! 🤷♂️

Good recommendation!
No beam shot?
Nope, just a quickie. Sorry I didn’t make a dedicated review, but there are a lot of reviews made already about this relatively older lights.
@@cheule a quick blue lightsaber beam shot would have changed my life though
Man this is great!!
is this for 5y/o?

I'd hope so*
Like a third a of 10440
That's awesome 👍
Great vid, will the frog or nano with the small extension tube run on any type of non rechargeable aaa?
Yes! As long as you use 3 to make it around 4.2 - 4.6 v
@@cheule no single aaa option? I like to keep it short as possible with one battery!
If you want a light saber… lep.. some come with filters.. that will blow your mind
Heck out the Olight Odin Turbo. It’s a yellow LEP. No filter, natively yellow.
@@cheule Absolutly not.. I own the nest lep on the market for throw and it comes with filters.. nasty yellow tint.. gross.
Put on shopee please
All that talk about the great beam and no beam shot?
Sorry, I made the assumption that most of my audience was familiar with this venerable light. I will think about making an addendum video in the future.
That's freakin amazing lol
I don't need it... I don't need it
It's not small! ITS AVERAGE OKAY
ROFL!
8:55.. it’s time for you to get off UA-cam for the day.. your getting carried away..
So true
Sir… HOW DARE YOU! HOW COULD YOU PUT THE IMAGE OF THE LIGHTSABER AND THEN NOT SHOW US THE LIGHTSABER 😡
And at this point.. just get a better light.. it defeats the purpose of the light.. but yeah.. it’s funny looking lol
This light is all about the tuuuuuuube.
