In most games where they give you choice, I generally find myself easily deciding what choice I like best/think works best. But with this one is one of the few I struggle with. I love them both for different reasons; the handshake because of it's playfulness and commitment to right a wrong, and the hug because it's so sweet and Alex's raw relief that she isn't all alone again. I probably lean towards the hug because I ship those two, but either or is still great.
I would hug Ryan all the way and omg Ryan you're so good-looking. I wish they had a three choice and it would be me jumping on him in the game instead of hugging him or shaking his hand.
Anyone thought the hug is a throwback to when Eleanor hugged Alex and she was spooked out because it was too early? I think that’s the same reaction but from Ryan. He was getting to know her and she hugged him 😁😁😁

I actually felt bad for not hugging him in my game because I‘m totally team Steph but now..I‘m kinda glad because I agree that the hug looks and feels awkward .
They just made him awkward because Alex gave same face to Eleanor when she hugged her. Playing on the same idea: they don’t know each other .. well right? Because they technically had Gabe die same day then she only saw Ryan in the wake .. so does she know him enough for a hug? I also didn’t like how they made this connected to the first hug choice with Gabe / Eleanor. Ig feels different because she had a near death experience with Ryan and they had their introduction moments. Ryan was flirting with her in the music shop so why would he not return the hug? They could’ve made it surprised but happy but the way it is … just awkward. I think they keep these subliminal messages to push for Steph. No real reason why Steph always supports Alex regardless .. I feel they made her paper cut perfect in their eyes .. less human in my eyes. If she had better character depth .. I’d like her more
