My uncle and Chichi Mabuse stayed at the same street and the outside yards is neat as a pin. I took pictures and showed it to neighbors in Thlalampya and they were impressed. Now out a few maintain as many sold property but it's desirable. Soweto yards nevermind a four rooms and big house they are manicured and they are so peace and quiet. I felt like it's a posh neighborhood ❤❤❤❤❤
Did you know that diepkloof square was a squatter camp called Mandeville since from the late 70's until year 2001 when we were moved to Roodeport Durban deep,we were born and raised there🫡
Nice vlog. However you should have blurred her face in this video since she said she doesn’t want to be on camera. Please always respect people’s privacy, especially she expressed her non consent to be on camera. Also kids, should always avoid putting them on camera unless their parents/guardians are ok with it…kids should always be protected and their whereabouts not exposed as there are weirdos and paedophiles on the internet
@@Story8821 you’re most welcome! And I think you have an interesting unique content space…can’t wait for you to grow to showcase the many upper market hoods in our various townships all over the country…there are so many in every province. Pretoria alone needs to be explored. Also my suggestion will be that for each area to showcase the amenities there e.g. schools, varsities, sports or play parks, public pools, gardens, shopping centres, stadiums, places of business eg restaurants, car washes that are run by locals or any other places of interest. Eg Soweto has countless of those eg Hector Pieterson museum, UJ, Regina Mundi church etc. every township has its places of interest, might not be famous as Soweto but locals or research will tell you. Also be open to conversing with local figures as well eg ppl who run businesses there; so we hear their stories. I think you have a winning niche m. All the best
For sure @thandilec835 that plan is in the pipe line but I'm glad you mention that it will a great move and I'll also try to implement some of the things you're suggesting that I haven't thought about as well
Thanks for showing us the beautiful side of SOWETO, I have always seen Soweto as 4 room matchbox houses with asbestos roof and lots of crime. I even thought you were going to be robbed.
Great content. Just be conscious of showing people's faces without there signed approval. Even if it's people who are just passing. Apart from the popia act, you need a release form to show people's faces.
Get a bicycle dawg, it would improve your coverage even better than a car. Lebo's Soweto Backpacker's in Orlando West can help get u started otherwise just cycle tour on ur own. Btw great content nonetheless bafo
Watching from the USA, see you soon diepkloof
