I love how much effort you put into keeping the original time signatures and such. Like all the tiny bits a lot of people just decide not to cover, is the reason I love your covers!
I’m definitely grateful that you appreciate that. Because it does get very meticulous 😅 That’s usually the first thing I plan out first, the tempo map. Most of the time, just matching it to the original track works, but sometimes the tempo fluctuates in subtle ways and so I have to be extra careful then. That said, I think that’s a big part of what makes these tracks so unique and awesome, and so i almost always love to remake them as close to the original as they were intended to be!

When I covered the Majin theme and especially imperfect cells theme I felt that struggle but also loved the challenge with how specific you have to be with them and over time it’s become the most fun part! Though when I did goku battles 19, I took it as an excuse to do a full ok thrash metal song but I appreciate you keeping the timings! I couldn’t find anyone else who even covered this song besides us :)
All of these covers were great! I really liked the Goku Battle cover as the opener. It's not a track I see get remixed very often, so showing it some attention was nice.

I find it interesting how the "Gohan Fights Frieza" track never actually played at any time whenever Gohan fought Frieza on Namek but played when he faced the other villains: Garlic Jr and his Spice Boys, the Cell Jrs & Super Buu.
All of these are sick but my faorite has always been Gohan fights Freeza followed by Goku & Gohan train. Piccolo v 17 is also very underrated. amazing mix!

😁👊 I have the grandiose idea of taking DBZ Kai and adding my Faulconer remakes into the soundtrack (not completely replacing the Kai score but just adding it where I think it would serve the story). It would be a lot of work but it would be like making my definitive version of DBZ 😅

This is one of my favorite videos from you now, amazing job on all songs in this set. That Vegeta Fights Frieza Remake completely smacks everything that i have heard from modern DB music. I really hope, if the anime comes back and and they modernize the dbz music, they at least reference this style. Also feared we'd keep chasing the modern manga stuff, of the last few weeks, which I can't watch, because I've decided to hold out for the anime adaptation to happen in like... eight years... Goku Battles is definitely a top contender, but the Frieza fight stuff is underrated, and definitely useful too. Just can't go wrong with the brawl-style themes. Man, such a bulk of work for a single video. Are we about to have another month and a half hiatus? I wouldn't blame you. All I do is writing, and I couldn't keep YOUR schedule on my best day. You’re right!! I did say that 🥺 But as the date approached, I decided to make a different video instead- originally I was going to do an Ultimate Faulconer Productions Collection of my remakes, with about 36 tracks. But I didn’t have enough time to finish the remaining tracks (I have made part of DBZ finale already btw). So in the end I decided to make a FP battle mix compilation. Also it gives me time to save that video for a more special date potentially. Yes I’m sorry about the new manga stuff, I have plans to work through the music for the Granolah Arc too very soon. I want to get all up to date with the Manga before Daima comes out, so I can do remakes for the Daima OST while we’re all watching it :) I may have to take another break from posting, but in actuality, I will be continuing to make music and art for the channel for the next batch :) I appreciate your continued support my friend 🥰

You’re right!! I did say that 🥺 But as the date approached, I decided to make a different video instead- originally I was going to do an Ultimate Faulconer Productions Collection of my remakes, with about 36 tracks. But I didn’t have enough time to finish the remaining tracks (I have made part of DBZ finale already btw). So in the end I decided to make a FP battle mix compilation. Also it gives me time to save that video for a more special date potentially.
Yes I’m sorry about the new manga stuff, I have plans to work through the music for the Granolah Arc too very soon. I want to get all up to date with the Manga before Daima comes out, so I can do remakes for the Daima OST while we’re all watching it :)
I may have to take another break from posting, but in actuality, I will be continuing to make music and art for the channel for the next batch :)
