This song seems to be about a man seeking answers while going through sorrow and desperation. Like is it real or a dream? And he doesnt want to live it.. which is why he points a gun to himself. Gackt is playing as the thoughts going on in his head. This surely is a serious song, but a deep one. The title "Jesus" symbolizes hope during those rough times. It could also be desire for redemption, as a lot of Germans joined the Nazis because they had no choice, out of pressure, or simply brainwashing from propaganda (symbolized by his drunken delusions, that's likely the case - he cannot kill himself or others with a clear mind). I think the soldier believes his suicide will make Jesus forgive him, as well as hoping that his worthless life was just a dream, and he'll wake up and be a good man. He becomes aware of his war crimes, which is symbolized by the bullets being placed next to a mirror with a light, though he doesn't even want to look at it/himself. Jesus is not going to save this man. There is no religious iconography in the bunker, symbolizing the absence of God and faith, which I believe is deliberate (you would expect at least a crucifix in a song like this). In that moment he feels a fraction of what his victims felt, while the band encourages him and look pretty excited about it, perhaps a reflection of how he used to feel when he killed/tortured other people (in the name of Jesus, no less). It could also be any soldier haunted by his war crimes and driven to suicide, not necessarily a Nazi. That's my interpretation. Shoutout to the actor by the way.
