Even though they have confirmed that the entire story from the original will be staying in the remake we're also getting more story added to what already exists so the story will actually be somewhat different. I'm hoping that they take that and retcon the events of AC and DoC so they can make those two better. The gameplay was alright in DoC but the story, the dialogue, and the voicing all just pissed me off.
