I Like US Aircraft Carriers in the world
My ex-husband wan an EN1 onboard this mighty Ship. Back in 1993 I was 8 1/2 months pregnant with our first child when he fell (as I was told by my Command Master Chief) off the flight deck. Just over 75 feet, and thanks to a Sailor going down the Jacobs ladder with him when he slipped, he is still alive and well.

I loved living in everett and walking to bus station down colby ave every day and seeing this ship. U never understand hoe big these ships are until you see them. Somehow they make cruise ships seem tiny

It’s crazy seeing how big our military is. As someone who has lived abroad as a military brat in several countries, most don’t realize how many bases there are overseas where military families have their own shopping centers, schools, and some American food chain restaurants.

How often do they replenish? Must be a continuous line of supply ships going to and from the carriers.
They can go roughly 6 months in non wartime situations without supply. Theyre powered by nuclear reactors so water and energy r never a problem. It allows for higher levels of food storage and ammunition
Also ships in the group resupply and can rotate in and out.
@@kylealexander7024 I don’t think they pack enough groceries to feed 5000 people for 6 months. I know they are nuclear powered and make their own water. They also use a pile of jet fuel.
