Dana would say the same about McGregor but he wants that McGregor money.
I agree, give it up Chris, this fight was over before it started
He don’t have to give up shii are u his momma or sum? U need to give up ur job u obviously aren’t making enough
Mcgregor is probably done too if you think about the injury he sustained against Poirier.
Conor already was kicking the heavybag full power months ago and with the titanium rod the changes of it breaking again becomes smaller
Yeah, the guy is done. He should just retire, enjoy his wealth and let the sport get better with his absence.
Eh, not sure. Weidman’s leg break was worse than Conor’s ankle break. Also, the way Conor was recovered (for better or for worse) has made his ankle stronger, plus the titanium rod is strong as heck.
@@redeyejedi17he will be back for ufc 300
You didn’t pay him enough to be able to retire
Or maybe they just aren’t good with money ever think of that lol 😂

@@natertotgaming1246not mutually exclusive
3mil estimated net worth is now underpaid ? He's in top 1% of richest men on planet earth
@@natertotgaming1246You're simping for a company that's being sued for billions 😂
"Blew one of his CLs"
- Dana
Dana discards human beings like he does trash when they are no longer of any value to him 🚮
Its the fight business stop crying
Its fiGHt bUsiNesS sTOp crYIng
Yet these intelligent ppl continue fighting for him under their own free will. What a nonsensical comment.
It'd be better for the UFC if Chris continued fighting. Dana just doesn't want to see him get hurt. He also encouraged Ronda Rousey to quit when she was still making him money. This is the side of Dana that I actually admire
That's not what asking someone to retire is lol he actually is showing concern for them here. Telling them to get out there and keep fighting killers would be treating them like trash
You literally didnt pay the guy enough to retire
He literally did though 😄
Thanks for the cliché ariel helwani
He's making six figures to fight in his 40s. He could definitely retire
He made 340k to lose to uriah hall. Probably made a similar amount this time. Why would he retire?
@@mpforeverunlimited even if he didn't make enough the guy is 40 he can still work for a few decades haha 😆
That's really tough for Weidman. He's still a younger guy but when it's clear from the results you aren't at the pinnacle of the sport anymore you really should probably call it a career. I hope the guy has other skills or ambitious because this is always the toughest part of the transition. Who knows how much he's made in the UFC over his career.
Guy is 39 years old?
@@TheHenrikku he is older than I thought when I wrote that comment. 39 is only old for an athlete.
Who told you he was a younger guy. He's 39.
That’s all most of these guys know… is fighting / training for a living
None of them can retire, you won’t pay them what they’re worth
Why retire while you’re just reaching your prime performance in eye pokes? 🤷
Dana, why ask why , they need more money, Dana provide financial educators, consultants so the fighters can retire with honor and don't have to come back and get hurt in the game.
Weidman should probably hang it up, that type of damage to the legs can cause permanent damage, and after two big injuries now, he’ll never be the same, and any potential opponent will do exactly what Tavares did and exploit the leg. Just like Silva, who was NEVER the same after the leg break.
Then pay him more Dana
Pay him Dana!

Well paid him Dana so he doesn’t have to come back.
Most guys are still fighting cuz they didn’t make enough money Dana stop it.
yeah cuz professional athletes are renowned for their smart financial decisions
Funny, i think Dana needs to retire too
Why? The guy is still killing it
Dana hater 😂
@@natertotgaming1246Dana bootlicker 😂
No because that would mean that Joe Rogan won't commentate 😭
Did he just say one of the CL’s😢
Collateral ligament. What’s wrong…
Hell of an injury by the way
Both need to retire. Absolutely terrible fight
Hmmm maybe there fighting for that last check🤷♂️ u should pay fighters u really like a 1m paycheck on there signed retirement fight and you cant unretire
