Not comedian specifically, more like the person holomems will tease, as is the case with Subaru.
I agree with Ao-kun, she hasn't changed much since debut, she's just gotten more opportunities to show her comedic prowess. Glad her senpais were able to give her confidence in the fact that she's hilarious, because she is very much so.

Yeah I don't think she's changed at all lol. Just less reserved, which is expected on debut.
Actually, I feel like MOST of the groups have a “cool-type” who serves to counter-balance the extreme cuteness of other members. The biggest standouts in my mind would be Towa-Sama, Kronii and Kaela. These three in particular also have an incredibly powerful gap moe when they DO turn on the cuteness. Ao-kun, by comparison, strikes me much more in the vein of a Subaru with her natural comedic tendencies.
About the cool-type member you are so right and i didnt notice it: 5 gen also has Botan as the cool one and she also has the very cute gap, the SF6 tournament as a peak example; and Myth has Calli which also has a gap moe.
Just like Subaru, Ao is teased so much by how funny their reactions are, which make her so different from the other "cool-type" members like the ones you said that normally are the ones who tease or are difficult to put in the spot; unlike Ao and her harem, her calling her mom, her pon and any other shenanigans of her.
And with hololive, being unique is a very good thing (and most of the times, including this case) a compliment
Now that you mention it, every gen does has a cool one within it. Suisei, Subaru, Okayu, Flare, Towa, Botan, Lui, Calli, Kronii, Moona, Reine, Kaela.
The only one I can't tell is Gen 1 and Advent.

That is the thing, we don't.
She is kinda debatable.
Subaru is the perfect senpai to give advice to Ao because their main comedic role is very similar: They give really funny reactions if you tease them, and boy does Ao have a lot of materials to tease her with. The only gripe I have with her is that they should've stuck with her ponytail hair look from the original regloss art.
I'm sure it'll show up in an outfit sooner than later~
Her laugh is kinda unique. First time I heard it during her collab with Aruran papa. Their chemistry is somewhat working pretty well

Ao is funny, I think she fits in well with Holo girls. Her and Ririka participating in GTA and mario kart got me into them a lot more tbh. Helped their personalities shine a bit imo.
I’ll never think of regloss as really separate of Holo tho, feels separate like the just for azki music group thing that shut down and was absorbed. The only difference I see is the Holo main girls are supposed to be idols and regloss for more non idol niji like characters. I think the non idol characters who still do music, dance, etc are more general appeal bc no one really cares if their vtuber behaves idolly except creepy weirdos.

Ooof, that hit me. Good senpai advice. Ao's only been getting better since her debut, IMO. She's got great comedic timing and I think she's been carving out a sustainable niche for herself.
The thing about Ao is that she can be both cool and cute and it'll work out perfectly, just like Subaru haha

I find it very engaging when people clap their hands before they eat in Japan. There's nothing wrong with it. It just means that they're excited to eat food either they themselves make or other people make. I find that uniquely Japanese.
It's not really clapping typically, they just put their hands together. Plenty of religions do it too, and pray with their hands together in some manner before eating.

I still think she should stop forcing this image of being "cool", it's not something anyone can force people to think. If she acted normally, she'd enter the famous "gap moe" zone more often, and she'd still have the cool moments because it's her natural model appearance.
People would go crazy with clips of these moments.
