The scrapwood guide trick for the forstner bits is actually genius. I"ve done so much mess when trying to do that kind of jack indents, you're actually solving one of my most annoying problems CBG-wise.
Isn't it cool how much the box itself plays in the design of the rest of the guitar. The color, design, size and shape inspire how the guitar turns out. I just look at the box and the ideas start coming.
Del!! not sure if you remember me, you taught me guitar when I was in school and I have cigar box guitar #36, Im trying to relearn and be able to play your beautiful instrument, youre amazing man
@@PuckettCigarBoxGuitar Paul Pacheco, from New Mexico, I was a kid last time we saw each other and you were the best guitar teacher i ever had, wish i wouldve stuck with it but your videos inspire such creativity and greatness. you rock!
Hey Dale! I've been following your guides on making PMGs... recently just finished my second attempt at a Cigar Box Guitar. I'd love to share it and get your opinion...is there somewhere I could contact you and send you pics for your judgement? I'm finding that I'm enjoying this hobby quite a bit and would love some constructive criticism!
I am a visionary person when it comes to designing a Cigar box project.
I spent three of the best years of my life in 3rd grade!
Giving the term “Bible thumper” a whole new meaning!😎😎

I use a counter sink to make enough room for that extra wide washer in the tuner. I can usually do by hand or spin it reverse with a drill.
I definitely have to add a DAd cbg to my collection to play all the cool "dropped D" grunge tunes!
Stay cool and hydrated!!!
I've seen that using a box of playing cards can measure the string height as well.

Couldn't agree more!

Have you done a lesson on "What a Friend We Have in Jesus?" (and maybe "How Great Thou Art" too?) The one you did on "Amazing Grace" was very helpful.
Beautiful Del, great job.
Thanks for the tunes.
Pee Eh Zo, Pee Eh Eh Eh Zo, Daylight come and me wanna go home . . . .
You should make it a fretless, since the Bible says, "Fret not!" Be sure you're playing by the book.

Speaking of which, it's time to start preaching brother. Put some scripture in the message. From a friend.
