Hi Mihai, thank you so much for your very kind comment! I'm trying to do my best, even if my time is limited for working reasons, I like a lot to do video and to share my thoughts about the shoes. So, I'm happy about your comment which motivates me to go ahead! Thank you my friend!
My pair has ~90km. I really enjoy them for intervals and tempo work. The Continental runner does not disappoint and holds the grip on tarmac, pebble concrete, bricks, and cobbles. Rain is no problem. They were quite firm at first but really break in nicely after about 50km.
Unfortunately it looks like the upper is starting to tear on my adios 7 on both shoes in the same place on the front of the instep near the base of my great toe.
Not normally. Maybe it is a defect. the rip starting is following the edge of the underlay on both shoes. I am still using them but I don’t think they will survive many more workouts. Well actually something similar did happen to my first Boston 11 at 550km the upper ripped maybe 5cm close to the midsole on the medial side. It didn’t happen on the 10. But at 550km I don’t mind. I think the upper of the 10 was a little better despite being heavier. I also ripped the upper doing intervals in the Nike Streak LT 3 years ago. It does occasionally happen but it is rare.
Yeah, that does it. I'm buying them. Loved the adios 6 and the adios 4. The 4s never broke, the 6s started to split somewhat on the upper after about a year.
Grande Stelvio!!
Very remarkable shoe ! Mine is only 30Kms old, but I can't wait to get next iteration; more Lighstrike Pro, minimal upper and low stack. Promises to be a true racing flat !
As owner of adios7, i don't recommend this as daily driver. They didn't last one simmer, both sides cracked, stitches and glue didn't help. Sides of bottom sole ruined by concrete. Hope i will find light and comfortable sneaker for daily walking someday
Grande review Stelvio!
Just made 230 km with Adios 7. Mesh got damaged on one of the shoes. After two pairs of Boston 11 (made just around 120 km) it is next pair to be complained. The new mesh is not perfect project.
Same problem for me. With only 180km the left shoe has broken the upper on exterior and interior side. The right shoe is less damaged but it is damaged as well. It is really a quality issue for Adidas. They do not answer to customers. @@mateuszstodolski3580

Great update Stelvio! I'm actually considering this one! Keep pushing my friend!
Thank you Paul, it is a great shoe!

Definitely my same feeling, I like it a lot, as I remember it was the case of the Boston 9

That's weird, mine is totally wears free. Does it happen to you with other shoes as well?

@@brianreiter5572 That's a pity, I hope you had some km already done on it!. Is it in the internal side of your feet, are you pronating ?

I love it as well! Nice shoe, also versatile 👍

Hi Max indeed! It is my favorite at the moment. I'm also curious about the new version,, let's see what it's gonna come...

Grazie mille :-).
