Just listened to this again, ca'nt say enough how great/sensitive the vocals are on this. Lead singer sounds a little like the lead singer of The Seekers (forget her name) but she was as revered and I think from Australia too..
Recall that Colour me Pop and John playing Eclection and having them in session....Apart from the Eclection cd theres a cd called The Lost Elektra Singles which has Mark Time the non lp b side of Nevertheless and there a %0th anniversary boxset from Elektra which i think has the second version of Please with Dorris Henderson on vocal rather than Kerrilee.....hope that helps...by the way does your cd have that annoying electronic noise in the background? best regards Jim
The singer that Kerilee Male sounds like is Judith Durham formerly of The Seekers. She is also an Australian singer.
Great group. Still got George and the Dragon on reel to reel tape from a Top Gear show. Brings back great memories. Nice post.

I much prefer this original version. Superb.
the original was of course by US band Kaleidoscope...since nobody mentioned it ;)
Doris Henderson was she in Trader Horne
No, Judy Dyble left Fairport Convention and formed Trader Horne.
The Lost Elektra Singles is selling for a pittance on Amazon at the mo...£ 1.30 pence

The best version. I still have this. Loved Kerrilee's voice. Dorris Henderson was okay, but a singer of a different style.
