@@teachandfunnstuff3127 life was amazing, the shows, the music, the games, movies, etc. It's a good thing you were still alive for a portion of the time when society was still good, before social media took over etc.
I’m so glad you recorded so much back then I really enjoy your 80s and 90s videos unfortunately my family didn’t record much back then so I look at other peoples videos to get a 80s and 90s feel
At 11:13 that’s me on that excavator Cat 318 LA Builders Inc. we were installing 24” Ductile Iron Pipe from Etiwanda to Virginia st. 5 or 6 blocks. We were there for at least 5 months.
The late 2000's is when I notice phones start to change almost the birth of smart phones sold to the public .....but at the end of the day I really like 2022 a whole lot better I live in the past in my memories and dreams but this year in 2022 and the future years I'm really excited for 😅🙂😃....have a nice weekend Gilbert maybe one of these days I can met ya
The reason this video doesn't look so old despite its year of capture is because of the 1080p Gilbert used. Everything from the early- and mid-2000s still looked like grainy crap due to the undeveloped quality back then on devices.
if you hadn't had put 08 i wouldn't have known it was 15 or so years back most of those cars are still on the road🤣 ever been back there in the past 16 years? gil?
The high quality camera makes it look super recent, but I can tell by the car and SUV models on the street that it is in fact the late 2000s.
Plot twist: This was filmed in 2016 but all the cars on the road just happen to be late 2000s or earlier models.
I was 1 when this was recorded but i wonder what teenage life was like in the 2000s.

I always think of how would it be like if they had HD camaras during the 80s or prior and to see the old boxy cars TVs and hairstyles in high def

I was about 9 that summer, don’t remember much but this video sure make me feel like it was yesterday. Excellent quality. Thanks for sharing!
Quality is so good that I don’t believe it is 2008
Yeah same here. 2008 was 8 years ago in 2016. Now 2016 is 8 years ago
this is so amazing to look at such a time capsule i still live in rialto and its crazy how much changes with time
If it weren't for the title, I would have believed this was taken now!
Not much has changed
Any year after 2004 is where you notice the big changes made.
I choose to blame HD
This was wayyyyyyy better then my camera in 2009.
@@hollowaang5284 I would say any year after 2006
1080p in 2008! Camera must’ve been pretty expensive.
Also love how the guy in the mustang waved at the camera at 2:00
1080p was always here since the 90s only you needed a professional camera. Escpecially in movies but idk how they did it
@fueledbymusic3 Now its 16 years since you recorded that video in HD
2008 wasnt that long ago with me. I mean this is good quality. Its amazing your videos what it shows
I was 4 in 2008, I remember some vivid experiences.

I just realized that 2008 was 8 years ago in 2016! Now 2016 is 8 years ago! That's right Gil
Crazy how an HD camera can make everything look recent, the only giveaway really are the cars on the road.
I went to see iron man at the rialto movies in 2008!! Not much has changed since i have been living in that area.

That house is going for $391k in 2021 , still not too bad for Cali prices.

The recession right around the corner.
15 years ago??? Looks exactly the same
Were hd cameras expensive back in 2008
Happy 15th Anniversary City Of Rancho Cucamonga! 🎂🥳
It's funny this was right next to my house before we moved there 3 years later.
