Ok, first of all damnnnn, everything about this, from the colors, to the music (tame impala gained another fan today), and the way you depict Dave in general is amazing holy shit. Even though this song repeats a lot of the same lyrics (which I usually don't like), your beautiful art helped to encompass the theme of the lyrics in a new way each time. Also, using the same colors for an oldish/nostalgia-inducing song? A M A Z I N G, especially since this song keeps repeating the notion of falling in a cycle that you feel like you can't escape, no matter what. I also love how after watching this, I think I really understood for the first time why the epilogues were as fricked as they were, I can't even put it in words, but this animation really helped to give off a sense of hopelessness that I haven't felt from Homestuck in a long time. I also like how towards the end when the music is kinda more muffled or at least the background noises get louder you also see that expressed in the art. I think this is one of the best Homestuck animations I've seen a while. Thank you so much for making this, this literally made my entire year.

Damn you did such a good job on this, I especially love the detail of the clock hand constantly going counterclockwise and how it vaguely looks like a sword. Also his same stoic expression even through all of these genuinely messed up things is *chefs kiss*. Excellent work
I cried watching this- Mabye it’s just bc I’m a Dave kinnie and anytime I see him at the scene where he talks to dirk about his abuse and questioning his sexuality I immideatly choke up,,,, but who knows- Edit: *i need to stop rewatching this it keeps making me cry but I love it so much- I’m so conflicted*
man thats dope yo i like the use of colors, the fact you havent reused the same frame again and again for the chorus thing part shows effort went into this and it paid off in making this flow nicely, the animation isn't very dynamic just yet (first animations amirite) but the diversity of frames makes me go :clap_emoji:, stay rad dawg
