This cage is amazing! I can’t believe all of that is less than $1500 I have been working out with the Fitness reality cage for a year now with your recommendation and have really liked it but I think I’m seriously going to considering this as an upgrade. Thanks for your videos they are great!
Best review I’ve seen on this. I got the base version and really love it. Appreciate a good review on it to see if I should update with all the accessories
Great review. I am seeing the P5 listed as the Mikolo Monster Series with 12 gauge steel. I like dry silicone spray for the lat bar attachments. It’s a great lubricant and doesn’t attract dust and gunk. I used it for years in a commercial gym I used to own and operate.
It's probably the same thing but I'm pretty sure it's actually 14 gauge steel because I reached out to Mikolo and asked. Hopefully they fix that soon. Thanks for the lubricant tip. I'm going to try it!
Love your videos. I just ordered my p5r. Is there anything out there where you can connect the 2 jammer arm where they are 1 unit, like a bar between the 2?
So I feel compelled to buy this machine because of his excitement alone 😅. But seriously I've been eyeballing mikolo's products for a while. I'm so short on space though that I'm really weighing all my options.
Can you tell me the distance of the two hole spacing on the bracket of the jammer arm? The two side hole that put the pin in to hold the arm. My rack spacing is 6 inch apart center to center. I wonder if that will fit . Thanks
I’ve had this rack for a few weeks. It’s a good home gym rack. I also wonder about the little pins for the safety straps haha. It is such a weird choice when they used massive bolts on other parts of the rack that probably don’t need them.
@UsawaFitness glad to hear it's a true 3", that makes my decision. I know the attachment holes are 1" but where the upright bolts to the crossmember, that looks smaller like 5/8"? Thanks for the review, it helped sell me on the rack. I've been going back and forth between all the different 3x3s, but this value can't be beat.
Looks great but those safety straps being supported by such a small pin concern me, that's a critical safety component where a failure can be life or death and seems to be a deal breaker for anyone who works out alone. Do you know the interior depth (i.e. space inside the cage)? I wonder if you could find some better replacement straps or pin pipe ones that would fit and connect in a safer manner. Also, can you confirm the gauge of steel? A-m-a-z-o-n says 14 but the Mikolo website says 12, although I'm positive they both used to say 11 so not sure if you can clarify with them. Great review though!! Nothing else on the market quite like it at this price.
I'm going to replace those pins with thicker ones this weekend. I'm not sure of The space inside but I'll figure it out and comment here. I emailed Mikolo about that and they told me it was 14 gauge steel because I saw the same things you did from Walmart and Amazon.
@@UsawaFitnessOh interesting idea using another pin, please post an update if you find a thicker pin that works! I'm hoping it uses a standard rack depth of like 30" or 36" so you could then probably get safeties from another company's 3" x 3" rack options like Rep, Rogue, Titan, etc... Thanks for the clarity on the steel gauge, I assumed it would be 14-gauge but wish it used the thicker steel just so it had almost no downsides compared to more expensive options. I know I don't need 11-gauge steel (and the vast majority don't really) but the fact that it isn't 11-gauge will definitely turn a lot of people away which is unfortunate because Mikolo is doing some pretty great stuff and I think deserves more recognition. I really don't like that they have it listed as thicker steel, hopefully they update their website soon because it's definitely misleading to prominently display "Numbered 3"x3" uprights and 12-gauge steel rack with a robust attachment ecosystem" when that's not true.
@@UsawaFitnessJust checking in again, where you able to measure the inner depth of the rack to see if the safeties can be replaced and/or replace the safety strap locking pin with something better?
Love the review and energy. Many Fonzarelli 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 on that take!
Thanks Jose! Tried to bring it a little differently in this one. Thanks for watching man.
This is your best review yet! 🎉
Wow! Thank you so much. I'm really glad you liked it and I really appreciate the feedback.

I'm glad I could help you with that Fitness Reality purchase. That's a great cage and this one is even.☺️
Awesome work guys 🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾

Thank you! I've been taking a little time off but I'm going to be updating it on my channel really soon.
Nice intensity on your presentation
Thank you! I was trying. 🥴
Looks awesome! Love the energy!
Thank you!
Big things happening in 2024. Let’s go Vern
Thanks man!
You got it going on Vern! Great job on the video!
Thanks Ron!
Great review! Is there uhmw plastic on the arms where they attach to the rack? To protect the rack. I'm not talking about the bumper stop end
No it doesn't.
@@UsawaFitness Thanks! Appreciate the reply
@@StonedRambo01 No problem! I'm sorry for the slow reply! Thanks for watching!

The pins are called lynch pins. 1/4" would be bigger than what comes with the unit but still give you some wiggle room. I hope this helps someone.
Thank you Bama! I appreciate this comment. 🙏🏾
What a amazing beast 😎💪💪💪
Right! I love it.
🔥🔥🔥
I'm really digging it.
This video makes me want to buy a Mikolo so bad 🔥
Man I can't wait to show you all everything that we're doing with it. It's next level!
Great review! Wish I had the space for this rack.
Thank you! I know what you mean about the space. I feel blessed to have this space and I realize it's not ordinary.
Great review! Will you ever review a cable crossover tower? Preferably a budget models
Yes hopefully very soon.

Not that I know of but I haven't explored that yet. I will eventually. 😁

Lol. I created that video on the morning of the Michigan Wolverines Championship game so I read ultra pumped. I do love it though. 😁
What’s the inside to inside width across the back? Trying to see if REPs 41.4” globe pull-up bar would fit on this.
I'm sorry for not getting back. I no longer have this piece.
Idk why, but now I want a power rack, and attend college.
You'll get one when you get out! Congrats on being in college bro! 👍🏾

I took a couple of pictures for you with the measurements because I wasn't exactly sure what you meant. I can email them to you if you email me.
Are you able to bench from the front bars ( if not getting the jammer arms ) ?
Thanks!
Yep definitely.

Right! I feel the exact same way. 🤣
Im sure Rep or Titan straps would work 3x3 with 1 inch holes
Vern! Damn do I need to upgrade to this beast!
🤣 Maybe! It's dope! I seriously love it.
Is it true 3" or metric converted to inches? Also, what is the hole sizing for the crossmembers?
3 inches and 1 inch.

@@Lord.L.N. man I'm all about doing this on a budget because there is so much we can do these days. I'm so happy with this rack man. For real.
Nice video! What leg curl attachment is that one?
That's the Mikolo 3x3 series Leg Attachment.
What is the measurement from the back wall to the front of the rack? Kind of on a space crunch so I want to be sure
