I was interested in video chat and split screen recording, 3:13 seems to have been edited and skips over the instructions of how to start a video chat. Is this fairly intuitive?
Can you post a video or send me a reply here as to how to get rid of one of the windows so instead of having two windows on your display you only have one video window and how you can switch between them easily. Thank you
Hello Chris, I just want to clarify I am understanding your question correctly. Are you talking about split view? Are you using it on WIndows or Mac? Is it through your computer or phone?

I was referring to the full screen view, and in particular using it on my android phone and on the other end the video is being sent from a Windows computer. I actually appear to have figured it out and it seems as though if using your phone turned sideways/full screen view, and then put your finger on the little window in the upper right hand corner and drag the little pic in pic window down to the loqer right hand portion and then hold it there and then release it and then very quickly tap the( Plus or check mark), i can't remember which one, that appears in the center of the screen), the little picture in picture window that was in the upper right hand corner disappears and you are left with just a full screen view of the video you are receiving from the sender. I am using my skype to make a video call as a one off for speaking to people at work and I don't have them as contacts as I need to dial a number and sub-number which they have given me. If I dial the number before placing it in a video call, will it ask me if I want to open a video call or will I need to open a video call before dialling the number?

You want to know if the video call window will pop up and prompt you to open video or just stay voice connected? Like give you an option before connecting with the person?
Same for me Bob, I was born in the 50's so 'I T' was in the future, most annoying is that curser pointer flying around the screen like a bloody wasp, it spoilt the tutorial.

Hello: Just watched your video...Did a Skype video call with my friend...She could see and hear me...I could hear her but not see her on video....We tried everything to bring her up on video and couldn't figure it out...Is the setting on my end or hers to fix this? Thank you.
Hello Nikki, great question. Sorry this happened to you on Skype but it's happened to me in the past as well. This may sound weird but did you try to restart your computer. That worked for me. Another option is checking the camera settings. Let me know if you solved this issue or if its still happening.

Hello, Sorry for the late response. When your in Skype, at the top of the page on the left side, click Skype Tab, then Click Audio & Video Settings. On the Audio & Video you will see the option to choose background effect. OR when you press Start a Call, on the right lower area there is a choose background effect icon. Try updating your version of Skype. This background effect is automatically there. you don't have to specifically download a feature. Hope this helps
Hello John...if on the free version you have at the top you cant select different views then yes- you probably will need to upgrade to a paid plan to excercise more features but im on a free version and i have grid view and speaker view to choose from. The only thinkni dont have is Together Mode and Large Grid. Try updating everything and see if that would work on free version

There are different view settings you can select to assist you with this in Skype.
