Thanks! Exactly, most people who have dogs do not think about these types of things. We protect ourselves from the elements but most often neglect to do the same for our furry family members. I spare no expense when it comes to Gus's gear. I figure I want to make his time on trail has fun as possible. Like I have said before when you are hiking with a dog you are "Hiking their hike" not yours. Anyway, glad you liked the video. I highly recommend Rex Specs if you can afford them. Happy Trails! 🐾 🐾 🐾
He was slow to accept it but now it's like his packs. he sees them and yippee it's outside trail time. You just have to ease them into them. I let him sniff them and play with them a bit first.
Hiking with Gus the Cattle Dog I see I’m sure he associates it with fun times now too! That’s cool! When winter comes if we go somewhere where it’s snowing I’ll have to keep this in mind!
@@ZorroTheBlueHeeler Remember that it not just snow blindness to be concerned with. If you are hiking there is the low underbrush that we do not realize or pups are running into and can injure their eyes.
Very cool, this is a topic I would never even think about. Beautiful dog.
