- The Hypnotic Brass Ensemble- October 12th 2013 at 14th st Union Square. I first heard this eight member ensemble several years ago in the subway...and bought a few of their CD's. They have travelled around the world, and played with major artists, but I like them best when I stumble into them on streets of NYC. Up close and personal.
how that many people can walk by seemingly unmoved by all that talent and skill is beyond me!!!!!!!!!!!

How can you just walk by? I tried it one day in LA, driving in my car I heard them playing on the street, got on the expressway before I had to turn around and go back and buy a CD. Been hooked ever since.
These guys used to be at Union Sq all the time back in the day while I was skateboarding there. They are amazing and I bought their CD. I actually don't recall seeing them as late as 2013. My memory is more like from 2005 or something. The reason people walk - it's not that we're not impressed. We appreciate it. It's just we don't always stop or dance. It does happen quite a lot though just not in this clip.

will g i saw them once doing the warm up of mos def many years ago... i fell in love... i saw them 3 times since, everytime they come to the uk... but the last time, they were all really drunk and high and didn't enjoy the concert. But they are beasts live. Peace.

who makes the coloured trumpets are they any good?
davey ewart idk what type of trumpets they play on but they have a wrap on their trumpets to help protect them from any damage, I’m guessing if they hit there Instruments while moving it won’t cause as much damage and Ik some of the trumpets have value covers which protects the valves from sweat and ruining the finish on there horns
