This song is good, helped cheer me up In England UK we have been put on total lockdown, tier 4. Will spend Christmas day on my own, as no one can meet xx Thank God for you and country music 🎶🎼 🎼🎶 xx
I hadn't heard that news yet, I hope it don't come to that here...but after the holidays and two weeks into the future we just may be if people cluster up...you know they will. A blue Christmas takes on a new meaning now. You're welcome Liz and thanks you for you're comments and thoughts...they are always good to hear.

@@WickerBillVintageCountryMusic I like his voice too. This is first time I've heard him and this song. Hope to hear more from him. I can't recall the name of the comedian that played a drunk. He was funny and totally sober! I'll ask Lizzy too. Btw, I'm back from NY. The people were very nice but glad to be home.
Hello Bill, thank you for all these posts, I love this one by Ned Miller, I like the voice and lyrics of Dave Dudley, Johnny Bush has a very different voice but is quite unique, enjoyed all the Marty Robbins songs, but my favourites are - Judy and Nothing But Sweet lies. Enjoyed listening to them, (you have been busy). I managed to get a lot of Charley Pride songs last night including "Live in Canada". You Tube keep uploading onto my front page. Hope everything is o k with you Bill. Ttys.
Good afternoon Sandra, had posted quite a few singles by Ned already that were on the Fabor label. This Capitol single has much better sound though. Oh I like Dave's voice too, is it just me or does he always sound a little drunk? Johnny always reminds me of Ray Price but a little more pronounced. IMO on Marty's album , Judy is the best song from the album and should have been a single from it with Paper face on the b side. I'm gonna post some more of Charley's songs from Lp's from the 60's in the future. Oh its all going ok here, just the weather has been sour as of late. Gotta get Christmas behind so things can seem normal again. Happy Holdays & ttyl.
Love the way he “drawls” his songs!

He sure did in his best drunken sIur, not that he was drunk. I like Dave's voice and the way he makes his words.

Thanks! I could not remember! I will not forget!! Thanks again!
Love Dave Dudley. I wish more than just "Six Days On The Road", a terrific song don't get me wrong, got airplay.
Written by Jerry Reed and recorded by him as well, but it just didn't have the same flair that ol' Dave Dudley gave it.
