Bought a Size 8.5 Morelia Neo MIJ 1.5 gen in 2014, too small Got Neo 2 MIJ in 2018 for Size 9. Perfect Just purchased MIJ Neo 4 the white/red color, Size 8.5 but still 1/4 too big Tried the Neo 4 elite Red color in store, Size 8.5 too tight. Decide to order Neo 4 Beta size 8.5 and 9 to figure out the better fitting size😂
The problem with the Morelia 3 is the band thay wrap around the heel. It is ok at first, but after an hour or so when your feet get sweaty, that band will start rubbing and cause blisters. Short session is ok, but longer one is not ok

Hey made I had the mizuno alphas and I have now bought the Morelia neo 3 ( which I guess is similar with the neo 4 ) . I have to say that comfortwise because of the leather the neos are more comfortable, I agree with Noah
I've got a thinner foot in general, and a thin heel especially, and a half size down from the US 9 to the US 8.5 was the perfect size for me :) but if you have an average to wider foot, defs go TTS
I saw your review of the Alphas true-to-size, and you seemed to really love them (and definitely more than the ones that were a half size down). Did they turn out to be a bust? Is it the K-leather that doesn’t make these Beta 4s a bust for your sizing?
They're excellent, they're JUUUUUST too thin for my feet... unfortunately I'm not willing to put my feet through that type of beating when I have playing and other things to consider!

It's all going to depend on YOUR foot shape mate! For me, The Morelia Neo 4 MIJ is my favorite, followed by the Morelia 2 MIJ, then the Morelia Neo 4 Beta MIJ.

I have a US8.5 and have wide feet like you; they were too tight at the forefoot. However, I took the insoles out and am a lot happier now with them now. Just wondering if taking the insoles out was something that you considered? Really hoping Mizuno make a Morelia DNA with the Morelia MIJ last. I’ve always worn a size 8 in Mizunos and have been for the past 15 years or so. The first half of those 15 years they always fit fine, but recently I find myself with the same problem as you. My toes feel too cramped and it isn’t an issue with the length of the shoes either. I started wearing them without insoles and that helped a lot. We’re playing on grass or cushioned AG most of the time anyway, so I never really felt an absolute need for the extra comfort of insoles. Maybe if you’re heavier it’s more of a problem, but it’s fine for most players. Of course now that I’m old, I just wear monarcida neo in mizunos super wide size from Japan and I can have extra cushion and room for my toes all at once.

I have wide feet I have the fiery coral color. Stick true to size but they will hurt for at least 3-5 solid sessions. The midfoot is tight and take forever to stretch out to your foot. The toe box is great. Also, at least on the USA model. Even though quality looks good it's not the best after 3 months. My left cleat front piece where the leather meets the plastic sole is coming apart. I reached out to Mizuno and they said the shoe has to be causing performance issues before replacing. Just an honest review after being used.
Yes, exactly the same! Most of the sizing has to do with the length. I would agree that if you have thinner feet, you can get away with going 1/2 size down given the leather in the forefoot
I bought half size down before watching this. My foot shape is narrow type and there is still a tiny bit of gap at the forefront Would that be still ok?

what do u think of the mid foot because my feet are wide and i have gxs currently and at the start they hurt my feet on the midfoot but that’s like most boots and now it fits me perfectly and i don’t even feel them on my feet would u say these are close to the gx width wise? Also how wide is the toe box because the only issue i have with the gx is the toe box is quite narrow as whenever i try to ping the ball it’s quite inconsistent and sometimes it ends up curling in instead of pinging across, i’m not sure id that’s the gripknit or the toe box.

I train 4x a week on Ag and play/train 1x on Fg I think the Superfly AG would be most suitable given i train mostly on Ag, but im curious to know if the Mizuno Japans are worth it given theyre probably better quality and i can get both for about a similar price range. Sizing wise for Mizuno I find going true to size in JP(cm) works well so for me. For my Alphas it’s 265jp 41eu where as for Nike and Adidas it’s 42eu.

I prefer the regular neo as well but mainly because of the heel area. Is the Neo 4 betas heel just as rigid as the 3s or did they change it at all?

What's the difference between the Neo 4 Beta and just the Neo 4?
Beta has a different midfoot/heel area material and knit in the tongue

You can either go down 1/2 size and deal with the uncomfortableness, or go TTS and put some extra material in the right side

They feel narrower in the midfoot than the GX for sure, I'd probably steer clear of these and go for something like the NB Tekela v4 low
