    Space X Dawn Polaris was 870 miles above earth is in the radioactive Van Allen Belts.
    Jared Isaccman opened the hatch into the Van Allen Belts with a temperature going from
    1,726 degrees Celsius to to 19,726.85 degrees Celsius.
    The Van Allen Belts begin 400 miles above Earth and go to 36,000+miles.

    • @donjones4719
      @donjones4719 Місяць тому +2

      The hatch was opened in LEO after they had lowered their orbit. Before that - yes, they deliberately went into a high level of radiation - but it was still less than an astronaut on the ISS accumulates in 6 months.

    Wow! These two wahmen really look like some sort of medusas in space with their hair flying everywhere out of control! They should have a little more control over their hair! Like, here's an idea: At the very least, try to tie down your hair and if you can, cover them with a hair net. You'll look much better for it! And you won't be struggling as much trying to put on your space suit helmets to go out on space walks!

      No, but you’re a low-information person so explaining why this mission matters to you is a waste of time, you’re the kind of person that scoffs at actually learning things to continue his current worldview, literally one google search could’ve told you why this is not what you think it is.

      The 10 minute flights are on the New Shepard rocket. That goes into space but not into orbit. These people trained for over six months to spend 5 days in orbit on a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft and did multiple experiments, mostly medical ones, while also working on the design of the spacesuits astronauts will be using for the next decade.
