Nina's opening sequence always tantalizes me. I once had this notion too that since Law's opening sequence came on right after Nina's, together with the same music, that they possibly had connecting stories. That Nina was sitting in that lounge thinking of Law as he was training in his dojo. And he was one of her rivals (aside from Anna) and he would possibly be one of her next targets on her assassin hit list in this tournament. Law being in his dojo training/composing himself before facing off against the mystery assassin. Later on, reading that Law & Nina had no connecting stories/relations with each other in this game. Turned out, it was Baek who was Law's rival in this game.
Their are several real world allusion throughout tekken 2 and especially this cutscene and this sequence but a rare mention is the seeming "Sega" logo lookalike at 0:26 , look to the rightmost edge to roughly just beneath middle screen to the red building exterior face to see the beginning of a sign designed and styled similarly to the Sega corporation logo beneath/covered by another green piece of architecture (i presume it is to prevent obvious infringement beyond allusion/ to allow pantomime lookalike being vague enough to be it's own thing whilst allowing external perspective to lead others to jumping into the logical conclusion of it serving as a sneaky outside party reference easter egg)
If Tekken was ever to be made in a live-action film, Charlize Theron should be Nina, Milla Jovovich as her sister Anna. Jamie Chung could either be Jun or Michelle. Either Rey Mysterio or Sin Cara (Mistico) should be King.
@@copywritten8462 I was born in 2000. My family was very broke, so I need to grew up with the old video games. I had a Ps1 while everyone else played with PS3. In 2009 I got a PS2. But I’m happy about it. I grew up with the best consoles and video games.

This looks like a high quality movie now! The animation is also smooth, and this intro will always be legendary
Nice job. Tekken 2 intro still is my favorite one from Tekken.
Nina’s part gets me every time and even better in this quality 😩
Armor King motivating King for a return was like apollo creed and Rocky
Seeing this intro updated visually. This is hands down grestest intro in the tekken series. Sorry kids
It's the greatest intro in any video game..
Totally my friend, this opening will be one of the greates achievements in videogame's history 🤓 and the credits song is superb too 🥲
Nina and law opening

Absolutely incredible work. Was hopeing someone had achieved this level.
Incredible work…
You gained a subscriber. Nice video!!!!
this is like a remastered tekken 2. the graphics are insane
Looks like Heihachi used the blur filter that chicks use.
😂
Awesome...

Nina the real life android 18
Why does the frame rate seem so high? Everything looks like it's on fast forward but not actually faster.
You answered you own question. It's a higher frame rate
The frame interpolation looks terrible. Way too much ghosting
Armor king n’est pas aussi mauvais qu’on pouvait le penser
really miss the dark aura of tekken , it gets more cringe and soft , with every new game that comes out
It’s too unrealistic. Tekken was a martial arts game with anime characters. Now it’s a anime game with anime characters
@@XAMAKA...facts ! I don’t even play the new ones. You must be a 90s kid like me lol
