The sports pundits were the first to say it. They saw the arrival of DR+the Blackshirts’ strong performance would mean more wins for the program. Without a doubt, Nebraska is an iconic program, the sports pundits are as eager as we are to see Nebraska’s return to relevance. The Kool-Aid will always flow.
Look at Archie. They were both looked at the same coming in. Had a bad OC. Has a new OC. Dude is 19 and I’d rather refer a talented qb to get the experience now and hopefully grow going forward due to learning from these mistakes and losses. You all act like a season is so long. Give him time to improve. What’s the alternative? Keep playing grab a qb until it works out? He leaves next year due to all the hate from you guys, then where are we? 2-10?
Dylan needs to be benched. Start a new QB for the last two games. Nebraska has massive problems on offense. Unfortunately we are losing the last 2 games to finish 5-7. Fucking sick of losing 1 score games the last 5 years. It’s pathetic
Prime's 8-2 Buffaloes say "thank you" for the first half wake up in Lincoln! Fuskers LOST the 2nd half and continue to lose! ROTFL! Raiola needs to stop being a Mahomes knob slobberer and develop his own style! Start with that CHEESEY haircut!!! [62-36 destroyed NU's program! And it keeps getting funnier every season!]
I’m not sure why people are complaining about Dylan. He’s not playing well, but he’s a true freshman. The biggest problem is coaching. We have basically frost 2.0. Rhule can’t even manage the clock correctly. That is high school level stuff. Quit supporting this ridiculous team. They don’t deserve it. We should shit down the program.
Dylan just seems tentative and hesitant to attack down field. When he does throw down field, he tries to float and layer every throw instead of stepping into it and ripping it with confidence and authority. Idk if he isnt seeing the field great or if he doesnt want to make a mistake so he takes the check down
Agree 100% with your comments. Other teams ( Feast ) on Raiola. They know he can't or won't run. They know he throws multiple interceptions. It is a complete Train Wreck. As far as sending the wrong message to Raiola he made his own bed, him & his family. This kid ain't all that not even close.
When he slid on 3rd and 5 when he had an easy first down… completely inexcusable, that’s not a leader. Mistakes is one thing, not fighting for your team is another.
Ay I’d agree but he had to put his health first and protect himself on that play I think it’s kinda unfair after how beat up he he was against UCLA to be mad here I respect the slide but that’s just me
Dylan is not have a running threat, so defenses do not have to take him seriously as a runner. Simple! Haarburg would kept defenses on their heels because he can run and he is a lot tougher than Dylan. And if Raiola cries and leaves, so be it!
😂 Haarburg can’t throw the ball lmao. A qb position is to throw the ball look at Peyton Manning and Tom Brady they couldn’t run the ball for anything… because it’s not their job to. Yes Dylan hasn’t played great recently no doubt, but he’s a 19 year freshman. I go to UNL by the way so I know what everyone else is feeling about losing
Hawkeye fan here. You guys should have won in my opinion. Has DPI ever been called on the last play of the game? I’ve watched a lot a football in 50 + years and I can’t recall a single time.
After North Dakota State gets invited to the Mountain West, Nebraska needs to be forced down into NDSU's spot in the Missouri Valley Conference at the FCS.
Guys this shit is getting so old. We suck. Nothings getting better. I wish haarburg could of rode this season. Let Dylan red shirt. But what do I know. He played like absolute dog shit. He shoulda got that first down instead of sliding 2 yards behind the marker. Just same old shit different game I bet we win that game with haarburg. Just saying
I don't understand this Heinrich stuff. If he played a full game. It gonna look the same. If not worse. Heinrich is a great athlete. But that's all. He's not a great runner. He's just fast. He doesn't see the feild any better than dylan. It's not an upgrade is my point. Jus cause we are frustrated. Doesn't mean past options is an alternative.
@@jdchatelain222 How do you know? You're assuming Harberg has not improved since last season. If Dylan starts the next two games then it's 100% guaranteed that they lose. Dylan has been given more than ample opportunity to show what he can do this season and it's not been good.
@@dancoffey6303 He's improved. But we've seen enough that he's not an upgrade from dylan. You do more damage doing a musical chair of qb jus because your not getting specifically what you want. If your doing the tango w qb,s then you don't have a quarterback. I like Heinrich. But he's not an upgrade. You still lose a little putting him in. It won't work. Now if you want the other 4 star freshman at qb? Then that's a different discussion 🤔
@@jdchatelain222 cant do much more damage than has already been done man, we ain't going to win another game. Wisc bout beat oregon today. Wisc is a loss and no way we will beat Iowa. Janiran Bonner was getting a lot of snaps. He's a Fullback/Tight End hybrid. I'd like to see some straight I formation with a Fullback lead blocker though
Some good points guys. Dylan is a freshman and dealing with a back injury. I didn't expect him to be one to win games this year. Jr. QBs still make errors he did today. That being said, poor defense (although better QB decisions could have made a difference) led to the loss of this game. The defense also lost the Illinois and Indiana games. I've never been sold on this defense, and now, after nearly 2 years and seeing its shortfalls, I really do not like it. They read our linebackers like a 3rd-grade textbook, successfully targeted a weak safety, laughed off the rushing 200-pound linebacker, and exploited them to a victory. On top of this, some of these players still tackle like they don't have coaches to teach them how to do it. There are reasons nobody else uses this defense. This means that this is a lone experiment by Tony White. It's not perfected and taught by others at this level. Replacing a 290-pound defensive lineman with a 200-pound linebacker has repercussions. This is clearly displayed today by the run lanes that were created for our defense, and the seemingly just late pressure on the QB. An extra defensive lineman would have made a difference.
@@ThunderPants13 exactly....if you compare how hes Playing to all the other college teams nationally.. Dylan has to be playing in the bottom third of the entire country....its bad...
He's 5-5 right now with more interceptions than TD passes. His numbers cannot be any worse than Harberg's were at this point last season. He may be the QB of the future, but he's not getting it done right now. At least Harberg gives us a chance to win with his legs.
I am afraid that Rhule is a bust, but we're stuck with him. Hope he gets some remedial help during the off season. Heck, NU is only paying him 9 mill a year.
@@GaryJackson-gw2gl Right? We get a turnover deep in their side of the field, pass on 3rd and 2 and settle for a field goal. I knew right then that we would not win.
These next 2 games Haarberg needs to start and Raiola needs to be benched so he can see how B1G defenses are like from the sideline. This is one of the toughest conferences in the nation and it’s really Ballsy to start a Freshman QB right out of high school in this conference. Raiola just needs to take a step back and watch what defenses are like in this conference.
Nah, I’d rather throw away another season for a more talented QB to grow and lead the team as a more improved qb going forward. The kid is legit, the kid is just young. It is a hard conference. However, I’d always argue it’s better for his development to actually play in the games then go back and extensively watch footage with the coaches afterwards, then to not be apart of the game and watch a QB with a completely different play style than you play against big10 teams. Nebraska fans are ONLY ever worried about the quick turn around, instant results. It’s not realistic and all this pressure for a quick fix is why our organization hasn’t been fixed properly. Everyone said they were willing to give Matt Rhule 3-4 years to rebuild and here everyone is menstruating again.
@theblockchaindoesntlie4503 Get used to losing then. Cause that’s All Nebraska will ever do. They have been doing that since 2016. At this point, just end the sell out streak.
@@cjlake1233 But do you really think HH is a better choice. I'm not a husker fan, but I think at this point yall just asking for Fresh legs.. True DR has been hit and playing hurt, and just a freshman. It might be a good idea to sit him to get ahead of healing. But some fans talking like they want him to leave. Just don't push him out the door..
Raiola sliding a yard short of the first down on a scramble told me all I need to know. He believes all his recruiting hype. He isn't younger Mahomes like he thinks he is.
I think we need to talk about his coaching or lack thereof. I think we need to talk about his offensive line falling apart at the worst time. I think we need to talk about his receivers not getting open. I'm not concerned about 19 year old freshman dylan. I'm concerned about a hell of a lot more.
Like missing a wide-open Banks for a TD? Floating the ball to open receivers and feeding them to the defenders instead of firing it with the proper lead to hit them in stride? Take off your DR colored glasses, he is not all that,
If Rhule wanted to do the right thing for NU, he would start Haarburg vs Wisconsin, but he won't as his decision making is near dumpster fire quality. Jeff Sims, Saaterfield, play calling, clock management, new OC with only 3 games left. I am afraid that
Tom Brady's drill teaches QBs to FEEL pressure rather than see it. I think that would help Dylan - it helps maintain focus downfield on receivers under pressure.
LOL, like Ja Morant teaching how to drive to the basket. "Just cross over, fake spin left, behind the back, dunk over the remaining 3 defenders." Easy peasy. It takes skill, something the Hucken Fuskers are completely lacking.
Sorry, it’s hard for me to believe that HH would step in and be a savior after witnessing his QB play last year which included 49% completion rate, 7 TDs and 7 INTs (which should have been much more). I’ll go with DR with new OC (I think it’s unfair to judge Holgorsen yet in just 3 games this year) because I think he has more upside. HH is not a viable starting D1 QB.
Sorry I think your wrong you basically saying HH has learned nothing all lat year and all this year and hasn't grown matured trained at all. DR isn't leading or getting it done he needs help or set down his help is HH throwing the ball is only 1 small aspect of QB his confidence is broken this isn't baseball pitching he needs taken out handed a clip board.
Before the season started, I joked that I didn't care if we lost every game as long as we beat Colorado. I got my wish but damn, it's embarrassing to see how much Colorado has gotten better while we just get worse and worse. It's like the game is moving too fast for Raiola now, His first instincts seem to be throw the ball as quickly as possible or run and slide before getting hit.
Now, that is true. That slide before he got the first down said a lot to me. He a little soft and needs to toughen up a little. He has had it his way all his life. Maybe this year will bring out the dog in him going into next season. This season is a wrap.
I really really hope HH stays for his senior year and starts next year and Dylan can take a redshirt next year to learn a new offense in Dana. This is seriously getting old. Like I’ve checked out of watching any post game press conferences or any pre game press conferences. It’s emotionally draining. I’ll get excited once we win 6 games
@ given our recent history we have to change our mindset of what a good season is. We as a fan base have to adjust our expectations. We are a bad team right now yes. We aren’t executing like we should. That’s why we gotta shift our bar of what a successful season is. This program hasn’t gone bowling in 8 years. You make baby steps at this point in a rebuild as big as Nebraska. This year I’m hopeful for 6 this late in the season. Next year I’ll want 7-8 and see steady progression. The mindset and discipline and culture is being completely uprooted right now. It takes time to change a mindset in the locker room around. Especially when you keep having one point or one possession losses like we do. It weighs on your mind which translates into the field and execution. Patience is key for us. Yeah we’ve been waiting for YEARS at this point but it’s all we can do is be patient and be supportive of the boys. GBR
It is a little telling that 80% of our best plays during the game was when HH was in or when DR handed the ball off. I do see his talent but if we seriously go 5-7 again it wasn’t worth playing him all season as this team will really lose all confidence.
Agreed... I believe Dylan will see a dramatic difference in development under Dana. The offensive line has been a liability for years now - we're better there this year but still not where we need to be to have an offense that's a threat every time the ball is snapped. Those two things, I think, will begin a turnaround on offense. If we could get to a bowl game even at 6-6, it would be a huge help in building momentum toward the spring with Holgerson.
It totally coaches fault ! Pisses me off people blaming players. They are piss poorly coached, obviously. Not put in position to succeed and everyone technique sucks in every position group
His uncles trash oline, 0 run game, and wr that cant get separation are thw real problem. A freshman qb is being a freshman qb and no one else is lifting him up.
Nebraska pulled a rare move to bring an NFL head coach to be their head coach. In season 2 they already have 5 losses. It seems like an all the kings horses and men can’t put humpty back together again scenario with the Skers.
@ point taken. Was he a head coach in the NFL? That isn’t common is all I was saying and when it does, it should be productive for the college team he goes to.
First year Sims (failure) and backups finished the season who were not prepared or injured. Second year Raiola does not have the skills to start as QB (cannot run the ball, passes are ineffective and only intended to allow a easy completion, a failure) and backups are not allowed to compete. Fans are too impatient, bull shit, fans are too stupid to not see some other team play. Coaching, you have hired a bunch of losers who are comfortable losing and you have what 30 or 40 of them on staff? Lawyers, lawyers allowing contracts with no accountability and income based on performance. You are fools if you think these lawyers should not be sued for malpractice. Feeling good academic atmosphere its there but that does not translate into getting something done. You are better off going to trade school and Nebraska makes a trade school look like a must do to get ahead. Newscasters, well no one tells it like it is, it is all hype and fantasy, and maybe that is what Nebraska wants Fantasy land.
Rhule does a pretty good presser but doesn’t seem to know how to make in game adjustments to correct what is needed. The defense that was supposedly so good isn’t. The offense is so predictable. Poor execution. Bowl game? This year? Not a chance.
The pass interference sure hurt but Dylan is not that guy and he should be benched and have time to learn from others film to prepare for next season. Dylan continues to miss wide open guys, hesitates on chances to run, and not do the things that make us better. It is good he got experience but we have seen his regression and it is time for someone else now to end the season with someone that can find the open man and hit him.
So dylan is a freshman and has started every game this year but both Indiana and usc have now had freshman quarterbacks play for the first time against us and both looked better then raiola. Maybe the coaching has been shitty and its not the freshman quarterback.
@@mraxe6429 Ok. Let's give the keys to the kingdom to a slow, low energy QB with an average arm for the next 3 years at 2 million a season. I am sure it will get us to that "next level!"
After the game we were having the discussion of "when did things go wrong with the Huskers"? To me, the answer is when we joined the Big 10...it's a brutal conference with every week feeling like a major challenge. When we were in the Big 12, half our schedule was just automatic wins...now, every week seems like an impossible task. The Big 10 has been AWESOME for the Volleyball program AND financially speaking...but it's been crushing to the football program! I'm 1,000% convinced that the glory days ARE OVER (hope I'm wrong)!!!
GBR, everyone. Am I frustrated with some of Dylan’s decisions? Sure. But so is he. He is determined to get better and to be here. For a fan base so loyal and usually smart, understanding, some comments here reveal less than that. I’m pissed we have lost games we shouldn’t, but the offense was buzzing a little better this game and we are going to win next week. Some of you need to stop doing your best impersonation of CU fans and, if you are that angry with an 18 year-old figuring it out, then maybe you should go ahead an embrace being a CU fan. I’m here to stay with DR and these guys. GBR
While I don't think HH should start, what I think might be a good idea is have an HH redzone package. With the shortened field, it would not make HH's long ball accuracy an issue and his experience and toughness would be more of an asset. And since HH will only be getting 4-6 snaps a drive he can sacrifice his body a little more for those extra couple yards. I think our main issue right now is just getting those last 20 yards and not settling for field goals. Plus making defenses having to prepare for 2 different offensive schemes would make it that much more difficult. And lets face it Dylan is banged up its clear he should not be risking his body anymore.
Non running QB needs great receivers and an O line. If you have two good QB's then play both. If Dylan leaves okay because when you got nothing you got nothing to loose-Bob Dylan
RED FLAGS from day 1: 4 high schools in 4 years, 2 decommits, chasing the money. He is not adjusting his game to the adjustments by opposing DCs, Nothern Iowa exposed DR(didn't have the athletes to keep up) and Illinois used that blueprint to win and every DC since has used it. DR is horrid in man coverage. Bench this kid and see how he reacts; does he fight or does he run. DR is a spoiled athlete and is not listening to the coaches. MR from day 1 has been on him about throwing from the platform... Still doesn't. His stats go down every week, if this was a typical 3*-4* QB, he is being yanked and sat down. MR has many times said he can win with all 4 QBs, time put your money where your mouth is. Wisconsin is going to blow him up and Iowa will finish him off. He has a one-dimension game, he can not run and will not throw on time. He may have arm talent but he is not using it. All he does is try to float the ball in, not fire it. If Neb keeps him in there, both games will be lost by 20 or more points; their defenses are too good. I turned the game off when he went in to try to pull the defense off-side. Instead, he played with himself and did nothing to try to win the down...LOSER. If he wants to transfer at the end of the season, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out! DK needs an opportunity; HH needs to be starting, period! KSU is finding out what happens when you allow the QB to call the shots, they ran Will Howard off to keep the 5* phenom Avery Johnson happy... How has that worked out?
This is such BS. Spoiled based on what…growing up in an elite athletic family? Talk about judgmental…this kid never throws anyone under the bus and is critical of himself. You feel like a CU Buff troll just trying to get reactions so maybe I gave you what you wanted but why don’t you go pick on someone else who isn’t 18 and dedicated to figuring it out. What a baby…you are.
It's an all-around case of not getting it done at crunch time. Defense gets a turnover and sets the offense up at the 15 and they can't score a TD. The O-line gets no push inside the 10. Same thing at Ohio St - offense can't run the ball in from 6 yards out on four runs. That's O-line weakness. Defense didn't get stops on the last USC scoring drive. Get a stop and get the ball back. Get a stop on 3 & 10. Didn't happen. Good pass rush and the ball hits the helmet of the LB and he doesn't get the ball. Bad plays by T Hill and Hatzog led to USC TDs. It's not just the QB falling short.
Let’s face it, we didn’t play well enough to over come the majority of bad calls by the officials. But there’s no question that USC’s defensive backs got away with hold after hold. I’m all for letting them play if that play isn’t blatant INTERFERENCE! Some would argue it’s not a big deal, but it is a big deal in a close game where one or two bad calls at a critical point determine the outcome of a game. The big ten officiating is some of the worst I’ve witnessed as long as they’ve been playing the game. It outright stinks. Holding calls in particular are not consistently enforced at anytime and it’s anyone’s guess when these buffoon officials will ever get it right. The offensive holding clinic that USC put on against Nebraska’s defense was impressive given how they got away with it time after time. The USC offensive line was nearly out done by the defensive backs who were allowed to mug Nebraska’s receivers. The NU - USC game was not officiated cleanly and would have been interesting to see the outcome had it been…
DiNardo on BTN implied that the OC change was because Raiola isn't happy and is thinking about transferring. Cignetti seems to be on to something with his "production over potential" philosophy when he brought in a buncha winners who were told they weren't good enough for Big Ten. Can't undervalue a winner but I also wonder how much it helps to have players who are pliable/coachable? His players are just glad to have a shot and prolly have no thoughts of transferring. And they're prolly buying into everything Cignettis says. Meanwhile, other coaches have to baby sit their five-stars or they might leave.
Dylan Riola is what is selling the 4 and 5 star guys to come to Nebraska. Riola needs to perform well. We know we can’t bench him. That sends a terrible message to all future recruits.
Nebraska did get hosed on a few calls, .. can't lie there. I think Raiola is a perfectly fine FR QB ... but, I agree completely he could have benefited from a RS season. Not every great player can play at a high level as a FR. I hope the situation this season didn't stunt his development. He's got skills.
I said that from the start. Should have grabbed a senior out of the portal, sat Dylan and let him learn for a year. Now he'll probably be a portal player himself
If you bench him, he gone!!! And Nebraska and Matt Rhule have staked their futures on this kid. He's a freshman! Let him learn. He'll benefit from playing in year 1 next season. Give him a better OLine that can protect him and you'll see him thrive. Right now he's pressing and part of it is because he's running for his life back there. You lose him, then you're really in trouble. You have no idea what QBs will be available in the portal. Can't atake your season next year on an unknown when you've already got Raiola!
It’s a stupid argument to put HH in so we trade one dimensional passing for one dimensional running. Then the Monday quarterbacks will say if only we could pass. Yes DR is pretty mediocre as a freshman but people must have Amnesia because HH arm is trash and he’s not even that fast kinda clumsy and for his size he goes down with the first solo tackle by smaller defenders typically
Welcome to entitlement 101, where a bunch of boomers and has-beens talk crap about Nebraska's freshman QB because they expected him to win the Heisman in year one. Great job, guys. You ran Solich and Pelini out and now you're gunning for the freshman gunslinger. Pro tip: give the kid some grace, like your mom did you and we'll all be better for it. Alternatively, you can follow Big Red Whine/Rant and be the loser you have been up to this point. I would think you would have learned that constant turnover is a guaranteed recipe for failure. But the entitled crew doesn't learn.
I thought Dylan played better against usc than he previously had. The problem is the entire offense. Two years of stagnation under Satt, and a decade of stagnation before with frost and Riley
What's really bad about this is that it may be ruining a super-talented player's confidence. Nebraska has asked the impossible of Raiola. I remember Devaney (& also Osborne---I think?) saying that it isn't ALL about winning and losing, it's also about building character. Haven't heard anyone mention that much since then, did I miss something?
I think we are just impatient fans and are putting way too much on a true freshman quarterback that may very well be one of the best investments this program has ever made. We as fans are obviously tired of losing. But Matt Rhule is in year two and dylan is in year one. Matt Rhule generally gets 6 wins his second year. And we are on pace for that. Disappointing, yes. But Rhule has a track record of turning programs around. Guy will do whatever it takes. Dylan will be amazing for this program. Mark my words
Those other programs have 5 star QB’s sitting in front of him. If Haarberf had started & Raiola redshirted, everyone would’ve been screaming, “put in Raiola” all season. Be patient
Bama fan here but; Dylan is a byproduct of the staff, they didn’t develop him this year. If we should lay blame it should be at the feet of rhule for not elevating the coaching around the offense. Holgersen should’ve been hired in the summer but Matt Rhule decided to keep his drinking buddy around anyway, reminds me of frost
Brilliant move by Ted Carter and Trev Alberts before shuffling off to Ohio State and Texas A&M respectively. Hire crappy Rhule to ensure NU sucks for years to come in case they have to play them in the future.
Yeah Dylan has been playing bad lately that’s obvious…. But let’s be real here there’s no qb in the country that can win with this team. Ask yourself this who on this Nebraska offense will even sniff the NFL? I’ll tell you ZERO there’s no elite talent on offense WR’s are slow and barley get any separation,TE’s who can barely move and the RB’s lmfaooooo nothing needs to be said all 3 are awful😭 and the offensive line can’t handle any legit D-Line so while yes he’s been struggling but this team on both sides just doesn’t have any real elite talent….and don’t get me started on the defense and those players…..💀
Would have liked to see him at UGA, but he probably would have red shirt his first year and maybe fight for some playing time his second year. He has talent, but isn’t close to being ready to start.some guys are too impatient to play at the big programs.
Needing time to get a program in place is nothing more than an excuse look at Indiana first yr head coach 10-0 . Either Dylan is not as good as he is advertised or we are not that good in general and judging by the Defense which was supposed to be our strength this is leaning to we are not as good as we were leading to believe. Or our Coaches can't get these guys to the next level. Or both IDK? So I give you a question are we better off than we were a year ago?
We needed other QBs in the game the last few times out.. I really think we would've won with more haarberg plays but they're completing under using him.
I think you’re overstating it. I don’t know if you remember how bad our passing game was with sims and haarberg we were behind every game because we couldn’t get third down short passing plays. DR has done what he needs to do. We’re so close. Everyone needs to be better if we are going to win the next game.
Watch Dylan’s body language in the last two post game press conferences. Kid doesn’t have any confidence. They need to run plays that will boost his confidence, and not rely on the kid so much. Defense really isn’t getting it done either.
I think at this point we need to stick with DR. He's talented. He's just a rookie. Heck, the whole O line need to get sent on some summer long/ team building/ "Remember the Titans" style bonding thing. I don't think benching our star QB is the way, but I could be wrong.
Stop blaming the freshman qb. He is a young kid learning and he will be great in the next seasons to come. I am from Nebraska but live in tn I could easily be a vol but Nebraska has my heart. I know it takes time. If next season looks like this season then I will question Coach Rhule. We will get there.

Without a doubt, Nebraska is an iconic program, the sports pundits are as eager as we are to see Nebraska’s return to relevance. The Kool-Aid will always flow.
I think most of us knew better, especially after Colorado
@@thehojo15 The media is now trying to sell that 6-6 is a "WIN" this season after starting 5-1. So finishing 1-5 would be a win? Blah!
You nailed it. We had no business starting him as a freshman 😢
He’s not Tommie Frazier 😂
Dylan needs to be benched. Start a new QB for the last two games. Nebraska has massive problems on offense. Unfortunately we are losing the last 2 games to finish 5-7. Fucking sick of losing 1 score games the last 5 years. It’s pathetic
Prime's 8-2 Buffaloes say "thank you" for the first half wake up in Lincoln! Fuskers LOST the 2nd half and continue to lose! ROTFL! Raiola needs to stop being a Mahomes knob slobberer and develop his own style! Start with that CHEESEY haircut!!!

@@EarlT357 Colorado still lost to this team and play in the weakest conference. When Colorado plays actual competition, they’re 🗑️
Does anyone think our o line sucks? And has for years? A big problem with the offense. If not the biggest?
@Bigjumper the O-line is fine. It’s not great. It’s not terrible. It’s just fine.
Ay I’d agree but he had to put his health first and protect himself on that play I think it’s kinda unfair after how beat up he he was against UCLA to be mad here I respect the slide but that’s just me
@ If he’s too hurt to run 5 yards he shouldn’t be out there. We have Haarberg who is good to go.

@@ActionJackson010yep that's just you
@@ChosenPlaysYT bro there were 3 defenders in front of him and he was visibly upset after and it’s not about injuries but preventing further injuries
Dylan is not have a running threat, so defenses do not have to take him seriously as a runner. Simple! Haarburg would kept defenses on their heels because he can run and he is a lot tougher than Dylan. And if Raiola cries and leaves, so be it!
He's 5-5 right now with more interceptions than TD passes. His numbers cannot be any worse than Harberg's were at this point last season.
With Dylan as qb it's like shooting fish in a barrel. If your not a running qb your not what Nebraska needs
@ you mean the one we man handled and beat down at the 1997 Orange Bowl?
All we ever needed was Haarburg to be able to pass as good as Dylan & we’d have our offense.
Hawkeye fan here. You guys should have won in my opinion. Has DPI ever been called on the last play of the game? I’ve watched a lot a football in 50 + years and I can’t recall a single time.
Thank you! Appreciate you
After North Dakota State gets invited to the Mountain West, Nebraska needs to be forced down into NDSU's spot in the Missouri Valley Conference at the FCS.

@jdchatelain222 bullshit. We have no run game with Dylan , and for some reason he can't throw the ball anymore. Are you blind?
@@dancoffey6303 He's improved. But we've seen enough that he's not an upgrade from dylan. You do more damage doing a musical chair of qb jus because your not getting specifically what you want. Janiran Bonner was getting a lot of snaps. He's a Fullback/Tight End hybrid. I'd like to see some straight I formation with a Fullback lead blocker though
Lots of people say that, but they are averaging 2 yards per carry. They simply can't run the ball, complete lack of talent.
It’s mostly on the poor O line. Until that is addressed seriously, we won’t improve no matter who is qb or running back
The Mahomes impersonator isn't getting it done.
He comes off as a sicko trying to impersonate Mahomes.
Back to the Big 12 is Nebraskas only chance of returning to any sort of relevancy.
HH needs to start vs Wisconsin and its not even close to being a question its blatantly obvious.

Totally agree. Don't know why coaches can't see this. HH gives us a chance on offense. Right now, Raiola gives us NO chance.

Yall wasn't saying that the first 5 weeks 😂😂😂😢. What happened

He needs to stop pretending to be Patrick Mahomes and just play football. This isn't backyard ball.
Take off your DR colored glasses, he is not all that,
Yeah they are down to their 3rd string LT right now
Betting.... he is going to the portal .... Zero offense around him ....

The Mahomes mannerisms are weird

I am all in favor of using HH in more run packages and even an option wrinkle especially in red zone/short yardage
😂😂😂ok.....now throw raiolas stats up there over this losing streak.
I thought the offense looked much improved. I was not longer 100% sure we would wiff on every 3rd down conversion. I was down to 75% sure.
Hes getting paid too much. Doesnt want to get hurt.
Now, that is true. That slide before he got the first down said a lot to me. He a little soft and needs to toughen up a little. He has had it his way all his life. Maybe this year will bring out the dog in him going into next season. This season is a wrap.
Matt Rhule…….0-8 with a bowl game on the line…….NUFF SAID! And Dylan needs to sit.
WR coach needs to be demoted. He can’t teach his guys how to beat man coverage. All teams have to do is go to man and the offense sucks.
NO down field blocking!!
You are excited for 6 wins??!?!???!? We are absolute trash. We can’t even make a bowl game. A BOWL GAME!!!! That should be the bare minimum!!!!
He’s a true freshman. Give the kid a bit of slack. And now he’s on his 2nd OC? That’s so unfair to ask of any QB.
You are right but I think this staff needs time . I don’t know why other schools can do these quick turn around, but this staff deserves four years .
Somehow Indiana pulled it off in one season. Nebraska going on 20.
I'm a USC and Dion fan so Colorado but by his Jr year this kid is going to be a Monster people expect him to be Tom Brady from day one.
Dylan has a confidence problem. Winning breed it, if you look at his throws he is not confident he can stick it and let it fly.
I would prefer for him to transfer. You can’t win in college football with a slow poke statue at QB
Sure you can if they can pass like Brady and have a couple of decent receivers. We have neither.
I’m Positive he was Given the opportunity to Start,DATs Y he’s Here, no Hating on DR He’s just Not Ready,Better in the Near Future.
No offensive line is his problems. Going to ruin the kids confidence by forcing him to play when hurt and has no time to even read the D.
His uncles trash oline, 0 run game, and wr that cant get separation are thw real problem. A freshman qb is being a freshman qb and no one else is lifting him up.
The quick pass plays did look better in this game, but yea, he needs more time to develop and WE need a great OL for him
Nebraska pulled a rare move to bring an NFL head coach to be their head coach. In season 2 they already have 5 losses. It seems like an all the kings horses and men can’t put humpty back together again scenario with the Skers.
LMAO, that's not a rare move spanky.
@ who’s spanky? I’m not name calling. Yea it’s not common. Usually college coaches go to NFL.

@ point taken. Was he a head coach in the NFL? That isn’t common is all I was saying and when it does, it should be productive for the college team he goes to.
@@josephdeyoung8754 Why? I think NFL sucks and the coaches don't coach much.
USC and Indiana quarterbacks are sophomores!
Please transfer, Dylan! Giving a guy the keys to the palace as a true freshman is not the Nebraska Way... Legacy player or not!
Tommie Frazier was a Freshman. But Dylan is nowhere close to Tommie. Dylan needed a Redshirt season
Straight up dumb take.
F that. Dylans good. Missing guys. He'll be fine
@@mraxe6429 Ok. Let's give the keys to the kingdom to a slow, low energy QB with an average arm for the next 3 years at 2 million a season. I am sure it will get us to that "next level!"

Our coach even said it’s almost impossible to recruit players to Nebraska!!!!
His lack of urgency all season long is absolutely a red flag for Dylan Raiola
Both Ohio state and Georgia could have covered up his flaws, they both have a better supporting cast on offense and defense
GBR
Raviola is terrible. How much is Nebraska paying this bum?
While I don't think HH should start, what I think might be a good idea is have an HH redzone package. With the shortened field, it would not make HH's long ball accuracy an issue and his experience and toughness would be more of an asset. And since HH will only be getting 4-6 snaps a drive he can sacrifice his body a little more for those extra couple yards. I think our main issue right now is just getting those last 20 yards and not settling for field goals. Plus making defenses having to prepare for 2 different offensive schemes would make it that much more difficult. And lets face it Dylan is banged up its clear he should not be risking his body anymore.
The play calling was far better than the previous 3. Dylan showed his true freshmen skills (again) & there were calls not called again.
Being a leader at times requires difficult unpopular decisions. Matt Rhule, you're the leader.
The NU - USC game was not officiated cleanly and would have been interesting to see the outcome had it been…
It should have been obvious from day one that he should red shirt, but then he wouldn't have come.
And I'm giving myself a like for calling out this channel of whiny toddlers.
Win the Heisman? Nobody said that. Lame!
I thought Dylan played better against usc than he previously had.
The problem is the entire offense. Two years of stagnation under Satt, and a decade of stagnation before with frost and Riley
I especially don’t want to see any of you happy and rooting for the team with Dylan as the qb.
Keep that same energy.

I agree. It was unrealistic to start a true freshman QB in the most powerful conference. Needed a red shirt season
Can’t pay a dude a mil and have him do nothing. Unfortunately, these ain’t the good old days.
The most powerful conference? Surely you jest!
Dylan Crayola was greatly overated for real. When he was supposed to be the second coming of Patrick Mahomes.🏈🤦
Why change offensive coordinator?, still getting shitty play calling!!.
Nah, the play calling was significantly better.
No, we don’t need to. If these mistakes persist in the future, then we need to talk. He’s a true freshman making mistakes, get over it.
He maybe a freshman...but hes paid an extreme amount of money...
Someone should have told the Raiolas Dylan will red shirt while Kyle McCord start
You guys put waaaay too much emphasis on STARS when recruiting. Braska is the Billy Beane of NCAA
Those other programs have 5 star QB’s sitting in front of him. If Haarberf had started & Raiola redshirted, everyone would’ve been screaming, “put in Raiola” all season. Be patient
Patience left 20 years ago.

The slip screens with the TE and RB we’re working
Were*
Bama fan here but; Dylan is a byproduct of the staff, they didn’t develop him this year.
He’s a true freshman relax
I think Nebraska should start the backup quarterback the last 2 games to give them a spark
Dylan Riaola is Jeff George 2.0.
Talented but behaves like he doesn't have any fire in his belly for winning.
