No Cosmic Armour Superman can be classified as the Eraser that the Writer uses against the characters that he creates, as Grant did when he got C.A.S. to kill Mandrakke, but sadly he only fell off the Comic and ended up outside of the Monitor Sphere itself, still alive mind you so he later comes back more powerful but that's another story.
One cool thing about the Monitors is they all start off identical. They're drawn that way for a while, they all speak the same and have similar personalities and actions. As the story progresses they start to become 'infected' by 'story' and begin to slowly look different, act different and have their own personalities.
*The same universe that a man who's parents were murdered and decides it is reasonable to beat up people in the middle of the night dressed like a bat*

Superman briefly holds a book that is described as having infinite pages, and being bigger than multiverses
His energy is fused with Ultraman's so the duality can power the Thought Robot. Which exists above universes, space, time, etc.
Superman holds the bleed in his mouth which the monitors themselves say only they can do
Aaaaaaaand later ins Final Crisis Superman vibrates his voice and obliterates Darkseids true form.

The concept behind Cosmic Armor Superman is amazing. It’s a difficult to read but once you wrap your head around it it bends your mind in ways that makes you laugh. Now this is really cool. In limbo lies a book that contains one story, the story of everything that has ever happened in all the universes. So although there is only one story all stories are in this story. When this story began, there was a flaw on the page. Now being this story is just that, a story, there are going to be inconsistencies, there are going to be things within the story that don’t jive, there are going to be flaws. So what the monitors did was they constructed Cosmic Armor Superman and put this flaw inside him. So ultimately what Cosmic Armor Superman is is a device to combat this flaw. He is a hero to the villain flaw. So whenever something in story doesn’t make sense, there is Cosmic Armor Superman to save the day and fix the flaw in the universe. How cool is that, on a meta story level, kind of amazing. Grant Morrison rocks.
What book(s) is this story in?
@@wlane2384 this is in Grant Morrison’s Final Crisis. It’s a mini plot containing 2(I think) issues called Superman Beyond. It is a really dense read. I had to read each page a few times before I really understood what was going on. But it is really worth it. I think it is some of Morrison’s best work. Right up there if not better than his All-Star Superman.
If you like Superman, another great Superman book that’s highly underappreciated, due to it not being well known, all those that read it love it, is Tom King’s Superman: Up in the Sky. I loved this book. Again it’s not a long read, but is well worth the read.

Cosmic Superman is the protector of STORIES. ALL STORIES. DC, Marvel, all myths, all anime, etcetera, etcetera. All of it, told and untold. It means he can do anything conceivable and not conceived yet. Power incarnate doesn't even begin to describe him.

I'm surprised the how often people Overlook the whole to be continued Bit. Mandrakk stated that the tombstone was Cosmic armor Superman's her Superman's or something like that and ask Superman what he wanted written on it. During the battle Cosmic armor Superman realized he was inside of a self-assembling hyper story that was trying its best to kill him. Knowing that at the end of the story he was supposed to die regardless of him being Victorious over the threat he created the ultimate loophole. By stating to be continued even if the story that was trying to kill him was brought to a end supposedly at the end of the current DC Multiverse he would be able to resurrect not just himself but the entire DC Multiverse at the start of the next story his to be continued rather than the end or anything that could be considered final

Michael Gordon I guess it would depend on the writer. Some versions of Superman aren't anywhere near Solar System levels...his average showings are in that range actually. You have versions that are planetary at best, then you have extreme versions that are galaxy - universal. It all depends on the writer, the story, and what version of Superman you choose.

Or, he'd just create his army of normal street thugs and give them super powers( he's able to do this if he sundips for long enough, around a say would do). However, anyone who can warp reality could essentially kill him with hi difficulty
Dom c Pretty much. But even when you pick one mainline Superman, the interpretation of his powerlevel and skill sets are WILDLY different. It's kinda hard to determine where exactly he stands because of this and also why Superman Prime 1mil is actually not very easy to scale from the main continuity Supes. His high ends and low ends are quite as even with his average showings. That being said, he's anywhere from star level to galaxy when you take out the outlier low and high ends. I guess that'd put him at omega levels, but not beyond it...depends on where exactly does a beyond omega rank(i believe universal and beyond).
And who would win in a 1v1, Cosmic Armor Supes or Doomsday considering they both adapt to whatever they are going up against?
